North Wilkesboro returns!
Welcome back!!!
Man I can't believe this.......this is what nascar needs and I hope they continue to come here and don't let it go again
The Winston Cup Race I ever attended was the spring race at North Wtilkesboro in 1981. I cannot express how excited and happy that the old girl was too tough to die and Dale Jr was able to sway Marcus Smith to open the doors and bring back racing to the track his daddy wanted to let rot into the ground. I hope one day soon that The Rock will once again Roar with the sound of NASCAR’s top tree touring series racing around that track too.
BP's Hometown Track is still alive and ready to roar
Lets F'in gooo!!! Welcome back N. Wilkesboro!!! I would love to see Rockingham's return also. Fingers crossed 🤞
Those words....you dont realize how great something is...until its gone....truer words never spoken.
Can't wait for race Sunday
Dillner spitting out bangers
Nice piece.
This makes me so happy to see a sport I once loved to rediscover it’s roots😄 might not be the same but it gives these guys an opportunity to race on a piece of history!
It was an interesting vessay. Thanks for sharing this.
I was so happy to see a Cup level race return to North Wilkesboro. First race I watched in years. Unfortunately, it was a boring race. Hopefully it will be the impetus to repave the track.
Extremely well done, Matthew!
Great piece. The years of breaking traditions are hopefully gone for NASCAR.
I miss Lost Speedways sooooo much!! I got to meet Matt back at the Chili Bowl, and we talked about that show and how there was so much more left on the table! Stupid broadcast teams though...
Dale jr has had such an impact on American motorsport
I’m ready to run through a brick wall LETS GOOOOOOOO
Welcome back, old friend
Let's also bring back The Rock! Let's get back to the roots of the sport! It's time for revival!
F yes. That is all. F yes.
Dilner is so much better at this type of thing than Bob Pockress
Thank you Marcus Smith for fixing the sins of your father….Now would please go blow up Texas so we dont gotta deal with that hellscape of a track ever again
If history was an important why do they teach it in school and if you don’t know history you’re doomed to repeat it I learned that in school old-school racing short track that’s NASCAR need more of it not cookie cutters
