To answer the question about serverless, as an example with AWS, you'd have the queue (SQS) trigger your lambda. Thanks for the video, appreciate it!

It's great to see this type of content and you shouldn't be afraid to be transparent like you've been here. I think it illustrates how what may seem like a simple question/problem can actually require deep analysis and consideration. Your audience (and those that saw the tweet) may not be aware of the hidden complexities or types of architectures available to deliver a solution. Now they've not only seen you're thought process but they've also been introduced to Derek via his great recommendation.
More often that not, we often see the 'facade' of great implementations but not the underlying insights into complexities or how the engineering challenges were resolved.
