Gorka Hermosa-Neotango Concerto I Gorka Hermosa & Streicher der Berliner Symphoniker

Die Komposition „Neotango Concerto“ (2004) ist Ergebnis und Ausdruck der Bewunderung Gorka Hermosas für Astor Piazzolla und Richard Galliano. Das Werk umfasst vier Stücke:
- der 1. Satz „Ekigrama“ (2012) ist eine Bearbeitung des Werks „Ekía“ (2003), was übersetzt „der Ort, an dem die Sonne geboren wird“ bedeutet. Das Stück kombiniert Tonleitern aus dem Nahen Osten und Tango-Rhythmen
- der 2. Satz „Anantango“ (2003) handelt von einer unerfüllt gebliebenen Liebesgeschichte zwischen einem Jungen und einem Mädchen mit Namen Ana. Schließlich verließ Ana den Jungen, woraufhin der Junge während der darauffolgenden schweren Zeit dieses Werk komponierte und diese Zeit überwinden konnte. „Anantango“ ist das wahrscheinlich meist bekannte Werk von Gorka Hermosa und wird weltweit gespielt
- der 3. Satz „Milonga del vent“ (2003) umfasst eine Melodie, die durch das Experimentieren mit Bossa-Nova-Harmonien und Milonga-Rhythmen entstand
- der 4. Satz: „Galliano in Santiago“ (2004) ist das Resultat einer „verrückten Nacht in Santiago de Compostela“. Sie beginnt nach der Aufführung mit der keltischen Folkloregruppe "Talabarte" im Auditorium von Santiago de Compostela während der in dieser Stadt veranstalteten World Accordion Trophy. Nach dieser Aufführung folgte mit dem Leader Folkloregruppe, Pedro Pascual, eine kleine Tour, die im Haus des Drehleierspielers Germán Díaz endete. Dort wurden Platten vom von allen Anwesenden bewunderten Richard Galliano gehört. Diese Komposition mischt den Rhythmus von 7/8 und die Rhythmen von Richard Galliano (meist 8/8).
The composition "Neotango Concerto" (2004) is the result and expression of Gorka Hermosa's admiration for Astor Piazzolla and Richard Galliano. The work includes four pieces:
- the 1st movement "Ekigrama" (2012) is an arrangement of the work "Ekía" (2003), which translates as "the place where the sun is born". The piece combines scales from the Middle East and tango rhythms
- the 2nd movement "Anantango" (2003) is about an unfulfilled love story between a boy and a girl named Ana. Eventually Ana left the boy, whereupon the boy composed this work during the difficult time that followed and was able to overcome that time. "Anantango" is probably the most known work of Gorka Hermosa and is played all over the world
- the 3rd movement "Milonga del vent" (2003) includes a melody that was created by experimenting with bossa nova harmonies and milonga rhythms
- the 4th movement: "Galliano in Santiago" (2004) is the result of a "crazy night in Santiago de Compostela". It begins after the performance with the Celtic folklore group "Talabarte" in the auditorium of Santiago de Compostela during the World Accordion Trophy organized in that city. After this performance followed a small tour with the leader of the folklore group, Pedro Pascual, which ended at the house of the hurdy-gurdy player Germán Díaz. There, records by Richard Galliano, admired by all present, were heard. This composition mixes the rhythm of 7/8 and the rhythms of Richard Galliano (mostly 8/8).
