    I just unboxed mine to warm it up so haven't used yet. My main gripe is the power cord. The location is one thing but it juts out in this upward direction so it's only compatible with a power outlet to the right. I have to turn it backwards and push it as close to the wall as possible so I can't access the warming tray. I'm gonna need an extension cord to use it.

      I use mine turned around due to the location of my outlet as well. I don't use the warming tray, because of preference , I'm used to using a plate to keep my food warm with another plate on top. Just how I've always cooked. A power cord would solve that issue though.

      @@RachaelXO I ended up using an extension cord and solved it but jeeze. You'd think they'd design these to be more compatible with slightly different kitchen layouts.

      Hey I hope you're liking the grill! Right off hand I can't remember. It's between 350-375. I'm really thinking 350 though to be honest!

    What's the proper temperature for pancakes because mine burnt

    • @RachaelXO
      @RachaelXO  2 года назад

      I believe it's at 350. Try one and if it's too hot turn it down for the next till you find the "perfect" temperature. I usually do mine at 350 though 😊

      I just got the same griddle and plan to cook on it this week, not sure yet what to make first but I know we will be using it for almost everything! Thanks for your review of it!

    Is the Diamond Force coating safe to use with a metal spatula, or would that damage the non-stick coating?

    • @RachaelXO
      @RachaelXO  3 года назад

      In all honesty, I don't know. Using metal on any of my cook wear leaves me feeling a bit uneasy lol.

    • @RachaelXO
      @RachaelXO  2 года назад

      Probably from the heat coils underneath and using it often now

    Was this video sponsored by Oster? I see 6:50 min: seconds there are burn (brown) marks after you have wiped the griddle surface. Other videos talked about uneven heating and that was evident with the pancake cooking. Your review didn't talk about it at all. Not convinced with your video and review. Sorry, no offense meant.

      Nope, not sponsored, you watched it so should know it was a gift. You don't like it, simple, don't get one. I truly like mine, and not going to attempt to try and convince any one of that. No offense taken one bit.

      @@RachaelXO us there a way to prevent the brown marks? I really need on but don't want it to appear so worn and used right away. I understand it's for cooking not looks but just wondering of you know if it's preventable
