You don’t have to purge air from brake lines or what ever? For some reason I always thought that needed to be done everytime changing brake pads. I may be mistaken.

If you took this to a mechanic he would charge you 600 dollars! I like to work on stuff like this myself too. Probably saved a ton on money !
