It’s honestly the most I’ve ever enjoyed a job. I can listen to music and podcasts as much as I want, the process of stocking and trying to get faster at it is a lot of fun, and I get a respectable workout from all the lifting and walking.
Right it’s a really chill job if you let it be, it’s all about perspective! The workout also keeps you in shape as well. I’m happy to hear you’re having a good time at a job like this, keep it up bro🤞🏾🔒
Many, many years ago when I was in my early 20s I did this as a job. Wish my experience was as chill as yours seems to be. We had this supervisor on a power trip and he would stand behind you clapping constantly telling you to move faster. I hated that guy.
That’s wild man some people get a managerial position and act like they are dictators running a world super power💀 I’m glad I’m able to just get my work done with no hand holding, it makes me work better and I don’t think a lot of establishments understand that💯
Appreciate this man! So many people have been asking me for these videos again so I’m gonna start doing these a lot more frequently 💯 any ideas on how to make it more relaxing send my way 🔥🗣️
I worked overnights at Walmart a decade ago back when they were open 24 hours. We had some interesting people shop during that time. The work was nice and was awesome was you know the day was getting closer to ending when the sun started to rise. Plus when you left, the traffic was going one way and you were going the other. The managers there at the start were not bad but were not leaders as well. Before I left, the last manager was stupid. Constantly bossing everyone and threatening to fire you if you did not move faster. I watched countless of people, some who've become friends walk out because they could not take it anymore. Till this day, those managers have moved around stores but did not get promotions.
Something about being apart of the rat race is they assume the “system” will reward them for hard work and often times make other people’s experiences worse because of their own personal grievances and things they go through. At the end of the day we all want a good life and businesses that make work environments healthy for the workers often thrive more than the ones in which leaders act like dictators 📝
I’ve been here for a year and a couple of months, my shifts vary from 5 hour shifts to 8 hour shifts. I work part time. Thank you for the comment man🗣️🤞🏾❤️🔥
@ ok last question and thx for replying. I applied for an overnight stock position at a supermarket. It’s a part time position. How many hours a week u do? How many days u work? And what time ya shift starts? (If this is to personal I understand)
@Ryedeltv congrats on the new position 🔥 I usually work around 30+ hours a week 4-5 days and my shifts vary starts at 11pm and goes to 3-4 am earliest time or 7:30am the latest💯
Got you bro let me know if you got anymore questions, always happy to help and be of service, and again congrats on your new position I think you’ll like it🤞🏾🔥
This popped up under my recommendations and I'm not sure why I enjoyed watching you stock a store but I did. No people and no customers....SCORE! I would be singing those 80s tunes I hear in the background throughout the store lol I wish the video was longer to be honest with you. Enjoy your night.
I appreciate you for real gang! I didn’t know how much of an impact these videos made! I guess this is a sign to make this a more frequent thing, I’m literally at work rn and should’ve brung my GoPro lol. I’ll make a 1-1 1/2 hour video soon! Appreciate the good words❤️🔥💯
Dude I couldn’t bro that would be wild😭I work around 2 big aisles and 2 -3 small aisles a night, good amount of work that isn’t too crazy but not too little to the point where it’s boring it’s nice 💯
Im a replen supervisor in uk, but im the other way i hardly do the work if i have no staff in which is most nights, easy job like dont get me wrong but i dont like doing it all on my own running round like mad, feel like there taking the mic outta me, ps the supervisor role is a whole extra 30p then minium 🙄
its so nice how they left you those boxes to open :) Or did you have to manually go into the warehouse and put all of those boxes there? o-o I'm wanting to do this as a job, but I'm scared of asking questions haha.
Usually everything is on a pallet and then we take everything off and spot them by putting them next to where they go on the shelf. Usually we have to do this ourselves but it can be different depending on where you work. Some places have boats with product in the aisles already, some you have to break down the pallets yourself which is what we do in a group of 4-5. Most nights for me the pallets take at least 45 mins to a hour on slow or regular nights. Appreciate the comment and it’s a chill job if you don’t mind the physical work. Ask if you can wear your own headphones, eat snacks during your shift, if you have breaks etc. Those things being allowed is why I like this job 💯🤞🏾
Nah I rent a room and I’m pretty grateful to not be living with my parents, worked very hard to get to where I’m at right now. Ima come back to this comment when I got my apartment, sending love your way❤️🔥🤞🏾
