Hi everyone! I hope this video helped you simplify your social media analytics a bit. They can be overwhelming! Here's the next video I recommend for you; it will help you get better results on your Facebook posts (and really, all your social media!) 👉ruclips.net/video/UywvFv--Zl4/видео.html
This video is incredible! Thank you for including all the ways to measure engagement rate, CTR, etc. Watched a lot of other videos and they never include this. You are incredible!!! Thanks so much!
Here is a run through of some things she discusses further defined, for those who love the extra detail. Reach: Reach refers to the total number of unique users who see your content or posts on a social media platform during a specific period. It is an important metric that indicates the potential audience size your content is exposed to. Impressions: Impressions represent the total number of times your content or posts are displayed on users' screens, regardless of whether they are unique or repeated views. If a post is shown ten times to the same person, it counts as ten impressions. Engagement: Engagement measures the level of interaction and activity generated by your social media content. It includes actions like likes, comments, shares, retweets, clicks on links, and other forms of user interaction. High engagement rates indicate that your content is resonating well with your audience. Followers: Followers are the individuals who have subscribed to your social media account and receive updates of your content on their news feeds or timelines. They have chosen to connect with your brand or account to stay updated with your posts. Peak Hours: Peak hours are the specific time periods during the day when your target audience is most active on a particular social media platform. Identifying peak hours is crucial for posting content at optimal times, as it increases the likelihood of higher reach, engagement, and visibility. Click-Through Rate (CTR) is a crucial metric in social media marketing, as well as other digital marketing channels. It is a percentage that measures the number of clicks your content or ad receives relative to the number of impressions it generates. CTR is commonly used to evaluate the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns and the appeal of specific content to the audience. The formula to calculate Click-Through Rate (CTR) is: CTR = (Total Clicks on Content / Total Impressions of Content) x 100 For example, if your content or ad receives 500 clicks and generates 10,000 impressions, the CTR would be: CTR = (500 / 10,000) x 100 = 5% A higher CTR generally indicates that your content or ad is resonating well with your audience and encouraging them to take action by clicking on it. A low CTR might suggest that your content is not relevant or compelling enough to attract clicks. Improving CTR is often a goal in social media marketing, as a higher CTR can lead to increased traffic to your website, higher engagement, and potentially better conversion rates. To enhance CTR, marketers often experiment with different ad formats, visuals, copywriting techniques, and targeting strategies to find the most appealing and effective combination for their target audience.
OMG, you nailed me on this one... I check my analytics once a week, knowing that I don't have enough of a data sample for it to be meaningful. But I just can't stop myself 😩
For the reach rate, I was wondering if it is # of followers reached / total number of followers or is it # of accounts reached / total number of followers?
Thanks for asking! From my research, it looks like the 2nd one - # of accounts reached / total number of followers, even if some of those accounts aren't (yet) followers. I hope that helps!
