Hey Billy, we used a solvent called prepsol or also known as wax and grease remover. This is a potent solvent that removes all residue waxes and greases, we then use an IPA wipe afterwards as it's a nicer chemical to finish on before applying any coatings. With these steps we have found that coatings adhere alot longer than just a normal ipa wipe down. The chemical also removes tar etc.. hope this helps! Mat
