Holy clem thats a lot of multishot. I now have the best mental image of loading around 45 pellets into what is essentialy a flintlock shotgun.

In searching for a riven with reload speed and projectile speed to consolidate mod space, I instead found a riven with multishot and now have 60+ multishot before stacking my galvanized. It’s a good thing multishot doesn’t use more bullets from your ammo max or else I’d load my entire reserve in one magazine.
I love this series, it highlights so many weapon I never thought about or just discarded. Gave me back a lot of fun as a warframe "completionist" who just mindlessly grinded through mastery point, so thanks for that!

People sleep on these bad boys but once you get used to the reload rhythm, they absolutely clean house. I personally run with a pure damage corrosive heat setup with both primed damage mods. MC is correct that these can comfortably run almost any arcane. (I use deadhead myself, headshots are easy at point blank range.) And the best thing you can do for this gun? Rivens. With how high their dispo is, the rivens are insane.
My personal riven is multishot, punch through, and minus crit chance. My CC may only be 0.3% but with 72 pellets before galvanized diffusion, I don't need crit.

I love the Twin Rogga. It sat in my inventory untouched for a long time until I realized I had a maxed out Arcane Pistoleer in my inventory. I combined that with 300% strength Harrow for 10 seconds of a high fire rate bottomless magazine and it's one of my favorite set up to faff around with.

I actually have been using this with Lavos since his new augment and forced status procs. The only criticism I have with yours is that you had a moment where you used Quickdraw. Using Quickdraw for reload speed is a good thing to do however you had the Primed version right there. Had you put on Primed Quickdraw, leveled that sucker up, you could had removed Stunning Speed and still had a better handling experience with it. Having 88% reload speed makes the feeling of using Twin Rogga feel divine. Also, like you said the Riven Level is pretty high. Getting a Riven for all the other stats you would want or getting something that effectively 'fuses' certain mods (apart from the ones that have extra effects, just talking basic stat ones) is ideal.
Lavos is insane with this gun and Cascadia Empowered, I have a riven that gives me 80 multishot at max stacks. Feels bad for the corpus that got hit with 80 Toxin status with an accompanying 60k toxin damage with no faction bonus lol

This was a nice nostalgia rush. Back when I started in 2019, the Twin Rogga became one of my earliest favorite weapons at the time. I might have to revisit my pair, considering I have a riven and all.
A few years back on a complete lark I bought a riven for these things for like 20 plat and it's one of the weirdest decisions I've ever made, but also it's delightful because they're basically the only weapon I have which bumps into the damage number display limit Every Shot and makes the status chance look incorrect. I don't think I've succeeded at making them good, but I sure made them funny, and that's what matters to me sometimes.
I've been really enjoying your videos. The format isn't just you TELLING people what's good, it's you showing your tests and experiments, and tailoring the weapon to your own taste, while having shown other paths players can take. I watched your video on the jat kittag (one of my original favorites, kuva version please DE) and ended up with a completely different build, but using the knowledge gained from your meandering tests! The thinking out loud has also helped me build many of my other guns, just things I never considered. So thank you!

I have ammo and multishot and damage on my riven mod and it's honestly one of my favorite secondaries in the game shooting 6 shots that cover the enemy with pellets is so funny.
*Ammo efficiency.* Since it's two shots and out, you'd prolly do well with _Arcane Pistoleer_ for 100% ammo efficiency on headshot kills for 10 seconds, or _Energized Munitions_ for 75% ammo efficiency, granting 8 shots. _Akimbo Slip Shot_ might give like 6 shots whilst airborne.
Alternatively, you can run _Conjunction Voltage_ to get more *multishot* and *reload.* +60% reload and +120% multishot. If you combine that with _Primed Quickdraw,_ you get +148% reload speed. It'll be like .6 seconds reload. .93 seconds with just Conjunction Voltage, 0.78 with Primed quickdraw and something like Encumber.
Ultimately though usually weapons are best when you diversify as many multipliers as possible, so you could probably either slap crits back on with Creeping Bullseye/Primed Pistol Gambit, or you could use _Accelerated Isotope,_ which would grant another *+180% damage* from Galvanized Shot, a new damage type to deal with Indifferent Facade or Alloy Armour, and an improved fire rate, especially since Conjunction Voltage would grant multishot.
That said, maybe going for _Secondary Deadhead_ to get improve *headshot damage multiplier* and *improved first hit damage,* whilst still utilizing Cold for the +0.2 crit damage multiplier would be useful if you went for crit mods.

Twin rogga used to be broken op .. for those saying how ... if u had a status chance multi shot riven with negative before status chance change u could hit the sweet 100% status chance per pellet and it rocked enemys to oblivion.. but if u have a crit chance cd multi shot negative or cd sc multi negative riven then its still destroys steel path with ease... if using 2 grean shards for extra armour strip these things can go nuts ... use fr punch through sc negative riven with full status build no crit and the armour of enemys will go super fast .. then just use melee high slash with a viral build or viral from companion and your sorted .. guess you can build it multiple ways and a riven for these is like 5plat to 10plat some people will just give u these riven to get rid of yhem for space 😊😊 good video as always i love the content big❤
Twin roga was one of my first rivens. Way back in old status I could instant strip armor in 1 shot, and my riven was extra mag capacity so I had 4 rounds. Great times.
Just a little something I'm throwing down here if you want to faff around and go for max multishot, try rolling your riven for multishot and add Conjunction Voltage on top of it. We might reach more than 100 pellets per shot I guess!
Conjunction Voltage for more multishot and reload speed would be dumb fun. But wouldn't be able to armor strip. Unless its a viral and electricity setup with hemorrhage to get slash on the impact procs. Then maybe it could work.

You can theoretically do a Hemorrhage build.
With my setup, I have a 5.5% chance for slash procs, but with my Riven, I'm hitting them in the face with like seventy pellets twice.
It kind of works, but I regret it.
These are probably tied with secura dual cestra for my favorite pistols in the game. Basically a secondary tigris
I love my hybrid setup, it oneshots everything in its path with tasty crits
Sadly secondary shiver is additive to galvanized shot, so in this case it's a sidegrade to merciless: bigger number at max stacks, but you lose the reload speed and need build stacks for each enemy rather than through kills.
Shiver's Strengths lies working in situations where there's nothing To Kill.
Ey, thanks for the vid and a suggestion from an infested fan: Could we perhaps get an updated coverage on the Phage? Its not anything special, but you're the best person I know when it comes to showing how a weapon can be viable with the right build.

I've had a riven for roggas for years now and I will never get rid of it. Also intro was relatable
So this makes me think of a brace of pistols if you have seen this term before it’s probably in something like AC Black flag or other age of sail type game/show/film there normally a group of loaded and primed single shot flintlock pistols (like 5 or 6 of them) tucked into a bunch of holsters and belts that you draw shoot then drop so you can draw the next (then you have to go round and pick them back up after everything is dead but as it’s Warframe you can just use space magic to pick them up as the reload animation) it would also have to be used on Hydroid with his pirate skin but you could also get away with Masa as she has a kinda highway man outfit that looks good and also fits.
"I need a girlfriend" made me laugh out loud for about half a second. Then I realized that kinda hits really close to home...
two tips for the video as well. First, cucumber can only add one extra status proc per instance of dealing damage. So it doesn't matter if you have 600% status chance and you shoot 1300 pellets to proc a gajillion statuses at once, cucumber only adds one. It's great on fast firing weapons but not on things like shotguns, epitaph etc.
second, the extra crit chance from puncture procs is flat 5% per proc, up to max of 25%. it is a final multiplier, so twin rogga with that creeping bullseye would land you at 30%+25%=55%. Could probably enhance it further with Arcane avenger or other sources of flat crit, but otherwise I wouldn't go for crit build.
Cold damage makes enemies take more crit damage, but it doesn't make you crit more often, so there was your source of CD... but again it's additive final multiplier of up to +0.5. Companions have that one mod which gives all your weapons +1.2 as well.
Cucumber also has a Cooldown Fire Rate doesn't Help Either.
A simpler Way of Thinking about it is... Cucumber Adds 1 Status Effect per Second Regardless of Multishot or Fire Rate or AoE.

Twin Rogga funny enough, their best use imo is early Lich and Sister of Parvos killing, these things bypass the damage attenuation

You know what's funny? I was actually just faffing around with Twin Rogga myself; I was working on a Hydroid loadout and been using Zarr as my primary. Turns out it's not only thematic but also pretty good with his kit. Then I was thinking about a thematic secondary and immediately I thought of this; A single-target secondary to knock down any beefy units that didn't get melted by his abilities/Zarr. And the cherry on top is there isn't a more pirate-y secondary weapon than a pair of akimbo flintlock-blunderbuss-pistols
Now I'm just deciding whether I wanna invest into Kesheg to complete the "Kuva Pirate" loadout :P
The kesheg is...really bad. Try something like the Vaykor Sidon with proper colors and you should be happier. What we really need is a proper cutlass.

I used a Twin Rogga as a pocket Tigris when my MR was too low for Tigris Prime. That was before Fortuna, when Tigris was still meta.
I literally forgot about this weapon since I came back.

So I was really hoping someone would make a video on this because I love the sound of these “pistols” and I’m not really sure how to build things I always build the most insane things to make it work. I’m running pure damage with secondary deadhead and arcane pistoleer I really do enjoy them. I also might have spent 200 rolls on a “god roll” riven but well worth it i’m glad you didn’t show us true power I get to keep my secrets to myself
One of my fav weapons, if it ever gets a incarnon or kuva version mmmmm. Have a corrosive + heat -impact riven for it, tears of happiness.
Riven, primed Quickdraw, lethal torrent, hornet strike, primed target tracker, primed heated charge, galvanized shot, galvanized diffusion, and lethal momentum. Cascadia flare. Build I use.
Im hoping they get a kuva version announced friday i miss these things they carried me through the starchart. We already got 1/3 of the kuva guardian weapons kuvaified so two more wouldnt hurt.

Empowered with Lavos's new augment is just silly on secondary shotguns. The augment guarentees a proc of the chosen element on EVERY PELLET of each shot...
So even at "just" 40 pellets that's 30k bonus damage per shot on these 😂 (Without even considering the 40 heat or toxin procs you just inflicted)

Out of curiosity, have you ever tried max fire rate Dex Furis? It does almost no damage, but you can empty the 100 round magazine in less than a second. It isn't good, but it's really funny.

Man, when DE finally gave us proto weapon skins 84 years later (and only some of them), I was gonna throw the sawed-of shotgun one on these. Rename them to AkTigris Umbra, run an all double barrel loadout with 'em, Tigris and Redeemer...but no.
All the proto weapon secondary skins, are for one-handed secondaries only, no akimbo versions. Mesa Deluxe's revolvers get a single and a dual version, but not these oh no. If I wanted to run said skin still, my options for weapons to put it on range anywhere from the knell to my pocket lmg kitgun...not a single secondary shotgun in the game fits the criteria of 2 shots before reload. Ok that's a lie, the Branco does...no I didn't say Branco Prime; Branco, just Branco...que the person saying ''Well that has an incarnon adapter, it's kinda good!''. You see this would be fantastic...if entering incarnon mode with such weapons didn't disable your applied weapon skin...
I waited, since Devstream 97 for this shit. Hydroid Prime was only just announced on said stream, they did a captura with him and a wonderfully fashioned sawed-of shotty. The first Plague Star was just around the corner. These could have been in the Plague Star event! Instead they were thrown into Nightwave as filler, eons later! And now that we finally have them (some of them) I am still left without what I wanted...
But hey, it does at least have it's own animations; so after you are done blasting like 80+ blaster bolts through it, you can reload exactly 2 shotgun shells and get back to blasting the next 80+ bolts... hooray.
Ah yes, Twin Rogga good. A trick you could do is use a glaive with the Combo Fury mod, faster reload and bigger mags. It helps.

why you refuse to use the new radiation mod? it is free extra damage that dont mess with other damages and effective against grineer.
unfortunately shiver is like any base damage mod, like hornet strike, so it isnt good at all.

Hello, I a Mr. Fun At Parties and these are already a kuva weapon. If you couldn't tell by just looking at them, they are also used by Kuva Guardians.

Twin Rogga is one of my main weapon while on Yareli, Merulina Guardian is perfect for this gun, and Yareli also help it to actually crit.
It is far from optimal nor meta, but I felt having fun ramming my fish into their face then melt their face with bang bang.
