What bugged me is that there were some great Metallica songs that were missing from this game (most notably from their first album). It probably had to do with the fact that Metallica still had beef with Dave Mustaine during the making of this game, and since Mustaine assisted with the creation of the album, they didn't want to recognize him. I might be wrong though.

I am currently making a custom game for Nintendo Wii called Guitar Hero Metallica 2 in which I include all the songs that weren't inclueded in this game, I have the hardwired album on it too. I am using the guitar hero 3 system for this game. It's great to have all the new songs and some others missing in the original one.

I dont hate Guitar Hero, still play it to this very day, but remakes of the old games and new installments to the franchise are highly unlikely. Harmonix said that they would still add installments into the Rock Band franchise though
Would’ve been cool if they put Megadeth’s version of Mechanix on the game. To represent one of the big 4 members, former band member Dave Mustaine, as well as a song from the no life til leather demo. This is just my opinion though.
Some of those other bands like lynyrd skynyrd and that thin lizzy song had no business being in this game😂😂 missed some really good Metallica songs for this game but they did well I used to love this game
