Oh my, you make it look "so simple" - I am in awe! I am surprised that you can work on a vertical with the wet in wet method. May I ask what type of paper you use (is it hot press?) and size & type of brush? Thank you this is so inspiring!
Thank you. In some ways the trick is to see it as just a few simple shapes and then you add the details. I use a paper made in Japan but saunders and waterford is a good paper. I'm not sure how rough this paper is, but it is not smooth or super rough. I'm not sure about the size of the brushes but I use a liner and a small bamboo brush (but a round brush is fine) and also I think a mop which is probably about 1.5 or 2 cms in diameter. But my favorite brush now is a pointed oval, it is so fun to use and great for painting around objects. I hope that helps.
