I have to laugh about the remark about needing a "testosterone boost". Most of the Sequoia owners I know are women who like the reliability and safety of this beast.
I found this review very funny. My dad has a 2008 Sequoia. I’ve driven the sequoia and everything you’ve said is very much true. Anyways thanks for the review.
@@jaycrzy5737 it depends on what you consider “fast”. for a three row almost 6000lb truck it is fast, though I got an intake and exhaust modifications though
I know you ask this four months ago but did you end up getting it? I definitely think it has life left. I just bought a 2008 with 213,000. Obviously yours has a bit more mileage on it though.
Nice video. This is like the 6th time I've watched this video lol, I'm getting me one one day! Is there anyway you could do another Sequoia review? Like a newer year?
Thank you for watching, I would love to make a video with a 2020 sequoia but it's a game of chances on whether I will get one or not. My current sponsor is a local dealership and I wouldn't want to go to their rival dealership for a video as they have helped me tremendously. So I will just have to wait until they get one in, unfortunately.
@@kalebsimpson3265 They get those in much more often so I might swing that sometime soon. I wish I could get ahold of the new 2020 models with the independent rear suspension. Those things have crazy amounts of space!
Thank you so much. Love your review. My friend want to sell me his two wheel drive. 2008 with 121,000 on it. The only thing is. It 2wheel drive. I live in New York City.
@@hermanmendoza7362 There's really not too many glaring issues, if it has air ride, make sure the suspension isn't sagging or anything, make sure all of the power equipment (mirrors and tailgate) work properly if equipped, but really, spend the 70 dollars max on getting it inspected by any local mechanic if you're serious, it could save you a ton of money in the long run or in negotiations.
😂😂…bro admit it…its one truck u gotta get tired of..because its so reliable..might not be that fuel efficient but it makes u wanna cry huh 🤔 😁..hey 🤷🏾♂️ thats just Toyota’s way of doing things
I found one a 2008 when I started a little white smoke came out for about 3min then went away .it has 204,000 mile but it seems like it's in good shape .do you think I would be ok to buy it please help
I used to do intros with outtakes and stuff (my favorite intro was on the VW R32 review, I got pulled over by a cop with the car's owner in the passenger seat after he just did a bunch of donuts). I didn't have any funny outtakes for this one but I remembered seeing a clip where someone got tazed in front of a sequoia... My newer stuff is more cohesive to say the least! Thanks for watching 👍
Getting mine this weekend. I don't need it but it was this or Toyota sienna and I would rather die than drive Sienna.
😂😂😂😂😂
Am on the same boat , I hate minivans

the guy that told this dude to do a review on the sequoia in that time is a genius
i love the nas playing in the intro
Best intro to a car review I've ever seen
That intro 😂😂😂😹😹😂😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

I would really like to know how well they handle in inclement weather like DEEP snow,HEAVY rain and floods, etc???
"I'll see you next time"
Likewise, good job on the video.
Theres one for sale near me that has 250k mileage. Think it has some lfie left?

Best car review I've watched. Oh sorry, truck review. ;)
That Denali will pass away

@@Realistick Okay, thank you! Well we can hope they get one. :)
@@Realistick Can we also hope for a Chevy Tahoe/Suburban review? Like 2nd or 3rd gen? LOL

Realistick yeah, I know! I love the Tahoe and Sequoia, probably the only SUVs I'll ever have.

I live in New Jersey so yes a 4x4 is a MUST,because those winter snows are never to far away...
I believe it would be fine because the weight and combined power
I'll buy it
Great video!!!!!!!
Thats why theres a steering control?
Looks good I chose a lx570
Good video
It's great for taller people I am 6 .4. 270 lb leg room is needed
Im looking into buying a 2008 with 157k miles on it for 12k is it worth it?
I'd definitely say it is worth it, with that kind of mileage, get it inspected by an independent mechanic first!
157,700 miles on it mostly city i guess
@@Realistick what do you recommend i look for when buying?

I daily mine but bought it for the towing capacity since I regularly tow cars. It’s a great truck but be prepared to spend $100 per week on gas🤦🏻♂️
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Exactly what i need

Get it inspected! If it doesn't seem too bad after a mechanic's inspection, I wouldn’t have much issues with recommending it.
I just but an '08 with 268k. I'm not exaggerating it rides like a new vehicle
Sell it to me
Super Innocent Maintenance Virgin Manufacturer 😄
