I see thanks to Heaven, Trevor and Fabio. Saw Lenny, Tommy Musto and Frankie Bones many times at Rage at Heaven which was hosted by Trevor Fung in the early days and then Fabio and Grooverider came downstairs. This is classic Rage music before it got too Jungle/D&B and those Brooklyn boys gave us some of the best nights ever.
Respect leigh, it was Trevor Fung who was way ahead of the curve in terms of blending his eclectic style together wherever he played but particularly at Rage . He introduced me to a whole new world of music and it wasn't uncommon to see his name headlining on the flyers of the day .
Had this on an unlabelled and unmixed tape of tracks from a friend and always wondered what it was. Would have been the autumn of '90 as Scientist - The Exorcist was on there as well. The music was getting pretty moody around that time.
It kills me that some of this stuff is 35 years old and I still clearly remember “some” of the nights 😂 For some similar tracks look up the Best of Nu Groove records albums. Some of it hasn’t aged well but there’s some stormers on there.
