Rearranging modules is almost as much fun as playing them 😄 Have you investigated Knurlies? A little pricey but very convenien, and saves screwdriver slips that might dcratch the modules👍
@@mwmusic29 Matt, I didn't really, until I got one, still dont fully understand it. When I first got mine I couldn't get a sound out of it, had to download some patch sheets. :)
look at all that empty space. Patiently waiting for new gear. I don't know if you are handy with a soldering iron, but there aree a lot of mods you can do to hook things up behind the scenes. All those little patch cords can be a pain. Cheers
Yes, if your soldering skills are rusty then probably better to not do the mods. It is quite simple though once you practice a bit and is really rewarding to get to know your equipment in a more technical fashion. If you need any help in the future don't hesitate to ask. I have done quite a few of these now and it is a no brainer! Cheers@@DisciplinedCommotion
the oscillators are a good start. Between the 921A and the 2 921B;'s. I have wired the CV and width so I don;t need those small cables to hook them up. That way you only need 1 cable for waveform output to the mixer. It cleans thibgs up by quite a bit. You only need 1 wire to go from the frequency out of the 921A to the 921B frequency in. Ground is already supplied by the power harness. The original Moog systems were all wired this way. Likewise you can wire from thewidth output on the 921A and go to the 921B width input. hope this makes sense. There are others too but this is a good start.@@DisciplinedCommotion

Yeah, I know what ya mean, I am aware of those knurl things, I have checked them out, would be handy.
Excellent work!
Cheers Matt, thanks for viewing, though modular is not your thing is it?
@@DisciplinedCommotion Only because I can’t understand how to do it!! ☹️

@@DisciplinedCommotion Sounds like there’s still hope then! 😃
@@mwmusic29 I find it great fun
Oh man. I've been through so many reconfigs in my system. Always worth it though. Ergonomics!
Its my first swap round, quite new to this game,.. not got many modules yet.
You're just going to have to buy more modules 😊
Yeah, its what to go for next, prob' a sequencer or I have been looking at the Wasp filter.
If I could invent the undroppable screw, I could make a million quid! 😀 Cheers DC!
Haha yeah.
Thank you for viewing.

Yeah its what to go for. Not sure about soldering stuff though, I wouldn't want to risk it.

@@moogfooger what do you think is worth hard wiring?

@@moogfooger I think it makes sense, but wouldn't you still need 2 cables to go to the mixer from the 921B's? if you wanted different ranges for each?
