Big Tiger Shark Encounter in Beqa Lagoon (Fiji)

See the big tiger shark in the Beqa lagoon that met the team of divers. The tiger shark is the 2nd most dangerous shark after the great white. They are infamous for their tendency of sudden and unpredictable attacks. So, always be careful if you go near a tiger shark. Never let it go out of your vision.
Tiger shark or Galeocerdo cuvieri is a large shark that can be 16 ft in body length. It lives in the warm seas. They are called "garbage tins of the ocean" because they love to eat almost everything. They are fearless hunters. They often attack and kill the Orca whales larger than them in size and weight.
Beqa is a island of Fiji. There are four resorts in the island. The Beqa lagoon is famous for its shark dives.

It's crazy to think how close that tiger shark is must be around 500 kg or more. With a bite force that exceeds a tiger you rarely see someone patting a wild lion or tiger that's half this weight.
Makes me think humans don't give sharks enough respect for the ferocious killers they can be
