Yes, Mamma...a season. When your heart is led by the Spirit of God, there is peace. His wisdom is trustworthy. Reminds me of Abraham. Leave everything you know and go where I lead. Abraham said yes Lord. And you will too.
You are so blessed to have such a close knit family. Your children are there for each other and for you and your husband. It makes financial sense for you to feed your family You know what is best for your family. Azariah was the focus of my prayed circle today. The ladies and I include him in our prayers each day. And have decided we will dedicate a portion of our time together for Azariah and the family. I can not thank you enough for sharing Azariah's journey. He has truly touched my heart and brought the lord back into my life. Blessing always.
I love that verse as well! To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. I know that [there is] no good in them, but for [a man] to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it [is] the gift of God. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. Ecclesiastes 3:1-15
You inspire me beyond anything words can explain. And i do very much feel that pull of God's creation .. the pull of the land. All my life, but probably the strongest when i was a girl going barefoot between row after row and acre after acre of my grandparents' berry farm. Ahhh heaven! The farm had a front row view of beautiful snow topped Mount Ranier in Washington State! The emphasis there, of course, was on the growing, harvesting and getting all the berries to the cannery, but yes, there was the milking cow and the chickens. (sometimes fresh for dinner) and Grandma's huge back garden... along with little sour green apples with just a touch of salt. Im tearing up. Choices ... and Seasons. Exactly. God Bless You & Your Family. He will continue to lead & guide your family. Azariah, you have a powerful God and an amazing family. 🙏🏼 🩵 🧸🩵
When I have worried about a child who has suffered from cancer it was as and is heartbreaking . A woman told me to remember Jesus loves him more than I do . We Pray and do our best and a child is in God's hands !!!
I have a close knit family, so I can totally understand you all wanting to be together. I love how you and your hubby let your kids help make important decisions . God is helping you all to adjust to your situation and have peace in this season. Also, it was so sweet of you to buy your daughters sheep ❤ You such a good mom 😊 I pray for God's continued blessings on you all 🙏✝️♥️🎄
Very well said. She is an incredibly strong woman. Her kiddos are very lucky to have their mom and dad that they do. I grew up with a single mom who did her best. It wasn't exactly what I needed but thankfully my brother and I had our nan and pops who lived down the street from us. Without them we would have gone hungry many times. So I know I said I was raised by a single mom but in actuality I was raised by 2 moms and a dad. I think your decision and the older kiddos decision to get rid of the animals is what you are needing to do at this time in your life..
What a blessing to have people step up and help with the butchering and the processing. This is what Christianity is all about. God knew this day would come before you did and allowing your family the resources to homestead and prepare for this. God is Good!
One day at a time. I’m convinced that the Lord cares about each step we take in our lives. He knows the desires of our hearts and you are surely attuned to His voice. My Dad would say…”you did good!” It says in the Bible that He stands behind us and tells us whether to go to the right or the left. You hear His voice and even though it will be a major change in your lives He always has a plan that will be better than you can think or imagine! He is always good, you will be blessed for your obedience.
You are in a tough season, but also a season with tremendous opportunity for spiritual and personal growth. I wish you many blessings during this holy season. ❤
Praying all goes well on the farm. So glad you have wonderful friends to help. Praying for you and your husband as you continue to manage all the intricacies of your situation. Thankful you will have food in the freezer to feed your family. ❤️🙏🏻Val C
Homesteading will always be part of you. All the things you have learned to do will guide you living in Suburbia. I have learned so much from you and your children. Overcoming the initial shock of the decisions may take a lil bit but all of you will come through this stronger and better together. The animals will feed you and this is a good purpose. Yes, it’s hard, but in the end, you are making the tough choices now to make life easier in the long run. You are all in my prayers. ❤ God bless.
Being a grown child from a large family I understand what they want and need is your time. You are busy with your baby and you can buy more animals. My favorite memories are times I spent with my Mom and Dad. They are precious and mean more than money. Take the time for your children you will not regret it. I pray for all you everyday. God Bless.
I understand completely and I’m glad the meat will be such a great blessing to your family at this time. I’m going to say extra prayers for your family right now, I’m sure this is a very difficult decision for you and your husband to make right now. Just know there is so many of us praying for your family and Azariah. May our Lord continue to bless you all and keep helping Azariah to get healthy. 🙏♥️
I’m a big believer in seasons! Sometimes this season may not be how we want it and all we can do is pray and give it to him to carry us through. Praying for you and the children, animals create such a bond with young and old and they’re usually our first experience of death and we grieve just as much for them as we can for people. We can be grateful though that through their lives they have given us food to eat and that is such an amazing thing!
Momma as a farm girl I get what you’re going through. Do what is best for you and your family. What an undertaking for processing that many animals in a single day. God bless those helpers!
I have no questions. This season is tough, but you remain so strong. You are a very close family and I admire that. I understand your decision completely with the animals but it’s still difficult. I hope the children are feeling better. Azariah must be doing well. I get so excited for your videos. Hope to hear from you soon. Much love and continued prayers.
With the uncertainty of so many decisions to make you keep the faith and know that this a season, a difficult season but also a blessing to have so much love and support from kind souls ❤️ only Lord knows his plan but He will get you through this season and prepare you for next. My prayers go out to you and your beautiful family on getting ready for whatever is trown your way. You are a strong woman which is a blessing and raising strong children as well ❤️
I understand the rough season of life you’re going through. I think it’s precious that your family wants to stay together. I love the love your family shares. God bless you and your family. Praying daily for Azariah & your family 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Just know no matter what you decide it is right for your family and I continue to pray for a stable baby and a healthy life for each of you what ever that may look like
I don’t have any questions. We are homesteaders also. We understand the it is who you are but when it comes to your family. You have to do whatever you have to do. You can always get more animals but you will only have one Azariah.
I believe you have made the right decision and doing what is best for your family. All these things can be acquired later on. What is most important is you and your families well-being. My prayers go out to you and your family. ❤

The freezer is full but my heart felt empty after I butchered. The decision to do that is difficult at best.you are going to need a crew to help out. Thats a godsend. Continued prayers for you all.
You amaze me sweet friend. Your resilience in the face of turmoil and your determination to do first of all, what God lays on your heart to do, and next of all, what’s best for your family, always encourages me. You are doing an amazing job!🤍
Hugs and prayers as you continue this journey with your family. Many will never understand your decisions. You are walking in Faith. To God be the glory, Amen 💙👣🫂🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I live on The coloosahatchee river in Florida. There are cow pastures across the river from our HOA as well as a pasture behind us. I paddle across the river and say “ hi” to the cows. I know that they will feed many people , so I thank them for their service.
I think you have made very wise decisions about the animals. This way you lose nothing, have backup food for your family and reduce the workload while Azariah is the priority. As you say seasons change and you can restock later. Very smart sensible reasoning !
I understand you have done what is best for your family! It is wonderful to be such a close family I admire how strong you are. Love your family sending prayers and much love.
When you are obedient to God like your family is He will always direct you in the way to go and You will be very blessed by Him. No one should question you it is your life. May God bless and lead you in the birection that is best for your family. God bless. Lots of love and hugs are being sent your way. Praying blessings always on your whole family.
Mama you are making wise decisions I was raised on a farm and I understand the work behind the scenes there is alot of care to do in winter that kinda eases off in others months and God bless you for what you are doing little angel needs his family right now and like you said nothing is being wasted tell angel were praying for him and give a little hug from granny in east Tennessee God bless
Vaughn potter… thanks for being so supportive of these decisions! Having been on a farm as well… it is very hard work! And winter is so,e of the hardest, if not busiest. 💕💕💕
I think you are smart to butcher the animals it will help you over the next year and it is a season and someday you may have animals again but now is not the time. Love you Momma stay strong keeping you all in my prayers!
Let’s help this family during the holidays set this channel to play automatically all day and walk away bye playing the videos it helps in so many ways the algorithms, the play hours and more open up your hearts please and just play her videos it doesn’t cost a thing
I think that is the most rational decision to make. If down the line you want to pick homesteading back up, at least you'll know how. Family first. Much love from Arkansas ❤❤ 🙏🏼❤️#15
I’m sorry you and your family are going through this. It is a hard decision to do what you have to do. You are doing what is right for the animals and instead of taking such a huge loss you are deciding to put the meat in your freezers to help feed your family for how ever it will last. Take care of yourself and your family.
Such a difficult decision. I know it must be hard to stay behind when the butchering is happening. I know you were working at being self sustaining. God will supply your needs wherever you are at. I am not sure if this is posted after the butchering is done, but I hope you watch the forecast and plan when roads are good for driving. I did love my season of country living, but yes, seasons change. It’s so difficult to give that life up. I’m able to eat healthy by buying organic and still have an emergency stockpile and where I live there’s many outdoor things to do. So I’m sure God will also direct you to a place suited for you as well. I can go to the Mayo Clinic for my medical needs and can still make my drives to communities where there’s now many Amish farm so I get my taste of country that way. Living remote does have its advantages. I used to say it was like living in a postcard. But there’s also the inconveniences of being far from health care. I know God will give you wisdom in your decision and if you do decide to sell the farm that you will find a place where you can still do what you love at a home that is perfect for your family - that you can still have a garden and animals if that is where your heart is - but in a home that is suited for your family. Or if God chooses to direct you to keep the farm that he will provide a way. With Azariah’s medical needs, it would be my inclination to move close to a medical facility for this season. But you know what is best for you. I know many are praying. Please ignore and even block the naysayers. You need encouragement- not criticism! ❤️🙏🏼
I understand why you have decided what to do with your animals. Especially when you can get all kinds of meat out of them to sustain you and your family for the coming months. You are one wise woman. Sending hugs and prayers.
Whatever decision you and your husband have made is the right decision for you, for right now. Hopefully by spring Azariah will be doing so well that you can be back home and get some more animals if that is how you are led. ❤🙏
I'm super proud of you making hard decisions. For what's best. For the family I truly support you and praying for you it's all in God's hands what will be will be God has a plan his way is the way faith moves mountains 🙏🙏🙏 love u all keep in faith
I think it's a good decision, after all your baby boys health is priority and sometimes sacrifices have to be made. It's obvious that you are not making rash, quick decisions. You put lots of thought into it❤️
I watch your videos and wondering have you said if the doctors have any idea, estimation how long little Azariah will need to stay in the hospital - and then how long and often you will need to go back for specialist visits. Also, anyone who does not agree with your choices can just not watch. We all have to do what we feel is right for us and OUR family.
This is a hard season for sure. But you precious girl your God is sitting on the Throne of Heaven and he is watching over you and your family. God knows the beginning to the end of everything he asks of us. Your animals are far more valuable in the freezer to you. Because you cannot be there on the farm taking proper care of it all. I know it’s hard to let go, but I also know know that if I surrender sooner to God there are far fewer fights and heartache getting to where I am needed to be. And right now that precious baby boy is where you are needed. Sure the hospital staff can take care of him just fine but he still needs his momma. To hear your voice and feel your touch when ever possible. God created that precious little boy in your womb and you carried him up under your heart for what 8 months? He knows your voice. He knows your touch. And he knows your presence. When you are there or not. And when you are holding him he hears the familiar sound of his Mommas beating heart. No matter what anyone else’s options may be of your life right now you are the only one who will stand before God one day and have to answer to everything you did here on earth. And I know in my old mommas heart that God is leading you and directing your path. I pray peace over you and your family and that the God of all mercy and grace pours buckets full upon your family as he holds you all so very tightly during this time.
Follow the way, God gives you! And follow your beautifull heart ! I love you , muma bear ! Merry Christmas, and a blessed 2025 for you and your Family.! From Perth, Australia 🇦🇺🐨🇦🇺🐨🇦🇺❤
I would never ever question anything you do or your decisions...as much as I care for your family,whatever you do is none of my business...However I understand loss and also have spent many days and nights in nciu in different states far from home...homesteads can be replaced,family can not....God is watching over you all...I pray mightily for you all several times a day as does my prayer group...I love you and your family..I would not want to leave my Mama either...your children help to make your burden lighter I know...
I wished I lived closer to you, I would have bought some of your animals. Especially the chickens that is a good price. I am sure that you have addressed this in a video and I just have not seen it but how long is your son expected to be in the hospital?
It Must be so hard to feel so torn between being with the baby or your children 💔 I think it’s always best to not resist the plan of God. We may question while we are where we are at any given moment, but if you go peacefully things resolve faster in my experience
Yes, Mamma...a season. When your heart is led by the Spirit of God, there is peace. His wisdom is trustworthy. Reminds me of Abraham. Leave everything you know and go where I lead. Abraham said yes Lord. And you will too.

You don't owe anyone any kind of explanation. All you need to do is what you feel is best for your family! 💕
I love that verse as well!
To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Thanks!
I think it's a good decision, after all your baby boys health is priority and sometimes sacrifices have to be made. It's obvious that you are not making rash, quick decisions. You put lots of thought into it❤️
I can see getting rid rehoming the farm animals but it would have broke me to re home my dog
in life we always go forward ❤
I watch your videos and wondering have you said if the doctors have any idea, estimation how long little Azariah will need to stay in the hospital - and then how long and often you will need to go back for specialist visits. Also, anyone who does not agree with your choices can just not watch. We all have to do what we feel is right for us and OUR family.
God bless your family 🙏🙏
Yes, seasons and changing seasons are hard on our hearts, and trying to make your plans Gods plan it never works out!!
Blessings

That's so sad. What if you end up going home sooner than you hope?
I would never ever question anything you do or your decisions...as much as I care for your family,whatever you do is none of my business...However I understand loss and also have spent many days and nights in nciu in different states far from home...homesteads can be replaced,family can not....God is watching over you all...I pray mightily for you all several times a day as does my prayer group...I love you and your family..I would not want to leave my Mama either...your children help to make your burden lighter I know...
I know this is so overwhelming for you. But God is with you.
Good mama.
$5 - 10 for laying hens is a steal. That said, I understand the need, for this time of your lives. Animals can be replaced.
❤❤🙏🙏xxoo
auctions when you have to sell.
It sounds like a common sense decision that your family has made MB2M. You can always start over, if you choose too. Hugs xo ❤
I will keep praying for your family.
I wished I lived closer to you, I would have bought some of your animals. Especially the chickens that is a good price. I am sure that you have addressed this in a video and I just have not seen it but how long is your son expected to be in the hospital?
I’m sorry. I can’t imagine…
It
Must be so hard to feel so torn between being with the baby or your children 💔 I think it’s always best to not resist the plan of God. We may question while we are where we are at any given moment, but if you go peacefully things resolve faster in my experience
……and a time for every purpose under heaven.
You are doing the right thing you can replace animals !
