    Are most projectors loopable? Im shopping for a projector for my AtmosFX digital files and I'm not seeing looping as a feature

    • @ToilandTroublesDIY
      @ToilandTroublesDIY  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! Most projectors will not have a looping function unless they have a built in media player. If you would like to look into those specifically, I highly recommend Aaxa projectors. If you want to enable scene looping with any projector, I would recommend using a media player like the one linked here (amzn.to/44Lj3TM) to run your media via usb or SD card. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Do you just run all your projectors at once with the audio all competing over the other digital decorations? I’d love to run my pumpkins and other digital decorations simultaneously but worry about there being so much noise in my small yard that viewers couldn’t focus on one thing without being blasted by audio from the next display.

      Hey Taylor, thanks for watching! I sync my main window projection and my pumpkins together so they do not overlap to compete with each other. I will have a video covering this topic very soon.

    How tall are the pillars that you have your talking pumpkins on? Looks like a steep angle upwards inside the projector box?

    • @ToilandTroublesDIY
      @ToilandTroublesDIY  11 месяцев назад +1

      They are each around 3 feet tall.

      @@ToilandTroublesDIY Ah, thanks for that. Yeah, I tried to build a projector box and angle my projector upward but It's so hard to get the right angle to display the faces properly. Always seems to work better when the pumpkins and projector are on the same level but that takes away from the illusion and I need to figure out another way to disguise the projector box because it can't be a gravestone at that point.

      @@fennec7906 Why aren’t you able to get the right projection angle?

      @@ToilandTroublesDIY I don't know, It's difficult to put into words because you'd think something like that would be very straight-forward. When I grab the projector with my hands and angle it upward onto the pumpkins to take a measurement or even when I place different objects under the front of the projector to measure from there, the faces always look a little off, same as when I use the projector stand. But when I have the pumpkins and projector at the same level, they're fine. *shrugs* Do you have any tips? Because it would be way better to have the projector box close to the ground like you do.

    • @ToilandTroublesDIY
      @ToilandTroublesDIY  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@fennec7906 My only suggestion would be to try to move the box father away from the pumpkins so that upward angle isn’t too extreme. If the box is too close and you have to project up at, let’s say, a 45 degree angle, the projection of the pumpkins is going to be pretty distorted (smaller at the bottom and larger at the top).

    How do you not get Light bleeding through your Archway projection from the front onto something located in behind? I would have thought one must project from the rear for that reason. Cheers

    • @ToilandTroublesDIY
      @ToilandTroublesDIY  2 года назад

      Hey Jeff, thanks for watching! The trick here is to place your projector as low to the ground as possible, pointing it upwards so that there is nothing behind the screen for your image to show up on. Hope that helps!

      @@ToilandTroublesDIY Hey - question about your projector box (gravestone marker). I asked this on your other channel but I don't know if you check it anymore so thought I'd ask here. Does the projector not overheat in there with the plexiglass window shut? Does the window not get fogged up if it's damp out or rains? What kinda cheaper projector would you recommend for jack-o'-lantern jamboree that would make it look good but not break the bank? Would be nice to be able to somewhat see the pumpkins when there's still some light out as opposed to waiting until it's very dark.
