Wow this is some quality tutorial ❤️🔥 i am wondering making fire tornado in trapcode particular. I cant find any detailed amazing tutorial about it. People have done it on blender houdini but i wish i can find it in trapcode. Well i know how to do it with hit and trails but a good tutorial would have saved my time and helped me a lot. Thanks I purchased the project file, I get "Channel Index out of range" when importing the V ray render in after effects with the instructions. Any idea why?
Hi ! So I looked into it and I know what’s going on. To resolve this you only need to delete the “VRay ObjectID source” composition, which is actually not used in the project The reason why you are getting this message is because After Effects is looking for a Vray ObjectID pass that is not contained in the exr render (because you don’t need it for this project) I will update the product so no one else gets this error. Thanks for reaching out and for purchasing the project file. Have fun :)
@@HollywoodIllusionVFX Thanks! One more thing is that when I render out the rpf as per your instructions in the download, after effects says "no camera data in the file" do you know why that would be?
Hi Ananorphic lenses ! When setting up your RPF output file in 3ds max, you have to store the Z-Depth channel, which contains the camera data. But normally it is already configured in the project file
Has anyone experienced issues using "sprite" particles? I'm desperate because my AE crashes every time I'm working on sprite controls/color/shadowlets.
@@HollywoodIllusionVFX Never mind. Finally I solved it with the Wind X option. But I have another question: How did you do the camera shake? With a wiggle effect? Thank you.
I’m glad you were able to solve your problem! The camera shake was done in 3ds Max. I then imported the 3d camera’s position and animation into After Effects. I will do a tutorial about that :)
