Literally everyone 30 and under had the Frampton comes Alive album back when it came out in the mid 70s. Listened to the entire two album release over and over. He was one of the reasons I learned to play guitar. Great music. Positive vibes. Hard to go wrong there.

Hey India I was at that concert..! He came to The Oakland Coliseum back in the mid 70's when he was on top..! He did a Day on the Green in 1976 and 1977 which I went to both years... I grew up about 2 miles from the stadium in Alameda and went to a lot of concerts there. The Day on the Green series were in the Summers and lasted All Day from 10am to about 6-7 pm on Saturdays that had about 5 bands during the day..! Both times he came for a Day on the Green he was the Headliner and preformed last..! If I remember correctly Fleetwood Mac had the stage right before Frampton... And I believe Status Quo open the day, in fact i believe that day was billed as the British Are Coming because they were all English Bands..! Great Shows back in the day..!!
    Love your reactions..!!

Frampton Comes Alive was EVERYWHERE in the 1970's. He was immensely popular. His good looks and charm actually overshadowed what a great talent he was on guitar. He was a very lyrical player. Unfortunately Peter was diagnosed with a neurological problem “In a year’s time, I might not be able to play,” he has announced. He's on his farewell tour. You won't be sorry if you do "Do you feel like we do", but it has to be from Frampton Comes Alive.

Peter Frampton was an early act as part of a multiple act stadium concert. Frampton stole the show in an historic way. The record label was smart to release a "live album" from that concert, and the rest is music history. Peter Frampton is a great singer, songwriter, and guitarist. In recent years, Peter Frampton has been fighting cancer. I wish for him all the best in his health struggles. You definitely will want to react to his "Frampton Comes Alive" performance of ""Show Me The Way".

Oh man! I had his poster in my room as a teen...loved him toooo much. This live version is missing some of the sweetness of the record. Hard to believe he's old and bald today. Still love him and thank him for filling my young heart with the hope of true love.

I was 15ish when this album came out. A couple boys from my neighborhood invited me and a friend to come up to his room to listen to this album for the first time. 4 teens stoned and laying around listening to Frampton. What great memories!

Lol. Watching you swoon to the young and foxy Peter Frampton made me laugh. I mean, not at you-it just reminded me of myself and every young girl when he came on the scene. No one had heard of him, and like overnight, his Frampton Comes Alive album was everywhere and everything. Give it a listen when you can. I think it’s still one of the best selling live albums ever.
