Literally everyone 30 and under had the Frampton comes Alive album back when it came out in the mid 70s. Listened to the entire two album release over and over. He was one of the reasons I learned to play guitar. Great music. Positive vibes. Hard to go wrong there.
Frampton Comes Alive....biggest selling live album of all time I believe. He is also one of the nicest people in the music biz. Great guitar player too.
A couple of guys in my unit were at Frankfurt Airport, Germany. One of them was playing his guitar, Peter was doing concerts in Europe at the time as was walking through the airport, he stopped and talked to the guys and signed his guitar. Was a really cool guy.
m williams yep, that sounds like Peter for sure.....a high school friend of mine used to build and repair guitars in the 80’s in NYC and Peter was a customer. Was cool then as well.
Oh all the girls were fanning themselves lol such a great album. Peter just finished his farewell tour, he has an illness that will soon take his ability to work
Peter Frampton blew up the end of the 70’s with this album. I think everyone I knew had this album!! Every time you turned on the radio, he was there! Loved his music so much!! This album FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE WAS AWESOME!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Check out all those hot grandmas in the crowd! No make up, spaghetti strap tops, no sun screen, all thin and healthy, all comfortable with themselves and their bodies. God I miss those days. I’m so glad I got to experience this time.
I am so glad you reacted to Peter, and was moved by this performance. I have loved Peter Frampton for years. I hope you react to" Show Me The Way". "Do you feel like I do" etc.
I LOVE Peter Frampton. Brilliant guitarist and talented composer. Definitely watch the LIVE version of "Do you feel like we do?" from 1976. He was gorgeous, charming, and adorable, and millions of women and girls were in love with him!
Peter owned the late 70's when Frampton Comes Alive dropped ! 😉🎸 Do You Feel Like I Do Show Me The Way Doobie Wha Somethings Happening Shine On I'm In You The whole album is fire ✌😎
I loved Peter but he didn't own the 70s. There was a little group called JOURNEY that had a huge impact on the 70s music. Don't get me wrong .I love Peter but Perry was my favorite.
I had posters covering an entire wall! So cute! Saw him play in Kansas City in Arrowhead stadium in 1977 and four more times scattered throughout the years. He’s still cute.
And ALL those young people in the crowd, 45 years later, are all senior citizens now. Just a little perspective. One can only hope all their lives played out the way they dreamed. Sorry, I think of weird shit like this.
First time I saw PF perform was at the Anaheim Stadium. I saw the concert again the next day at Balboa Stadium. I got in backstage and invited to go the next day...anyone remember Wolf & Rissmiller Concerts from mid to late 70's? Long Live Frampton and rock 'n roll
In 1976, you HAD to have the album 'Frampton Comes Alive'. I remember the first time I heard "Show me the way". In the car, late at night. Crank it up!!!!! Balance it out!! (Ya know what I mean?)
He was a cutie pie! So boyish looking and his album was one of the biggest sellers back in the day. He's still performing but with a lot less hair. :-)
Peter Frampton toured in 76', with "Yes", a British rock band. They played in several sold old stadiums including the one that I was at in Philadelphia at JFK stadium. There was over 100,000 people there that day! You should listen to some Yes songs too. Try: I've seen all good people , Roundabout or Wonderous Stories
Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum, oh we were spoiled in those days. You could go to a summer's worth of concerts with more than a dozen big name bands for less than what a ticket to a single concert costs today.
I can see you felt it, Frampton was a hottie (there that's out of the way). You've Got to do Show me the way it gives me chills or Do you feel (the way we do) off of the live album. You'll love it!
1976 I was 13 my sister was 15 and this was the first rock concert she took me 2 it was amazing and it started a long journey of rock and roll concerts it's been good
U should react to his song...Do you feel like we do. He uses a talkbox . People had never seen anything like it. It lets him use his guitar to talk , so to speak. It’s wonderful . Check it out.
When my sister got married, we met her BIL for the first time. All the girls (except me) went gaga over him because he had long, blond, wavy hair just like Peter Frampton. He played it for all it was worth.
I was at this concert it was a Day on the Green in Oakland 1977 it was a Independence day cerebration as well. I remember we were on the Grass for Lynyrd Skynyrd and this guy kept puking in front of us so we moved to some seats on the first deck for Frampton :) It was a great concert start to finish with the Outlaws and Santana filling out the bill. Just a great vibe everyone happy over 60,000 people and everyone i met was nice. There were a ton of woman there because they love Peter Frampton:)
Peter Frampton has always been a great musician, singer and song wroters, who has been highly underated for being too cute to be a rock idol. To date, even though he had over a dozen rock hits, he hasn't been inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
I think everyone had the Frampton Comes Alive album when it came out -- he also starred in Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts club Band movie (tribute to Beatles album) with some great artists like the Bee Gees, Aerosmith, and Earth, Wind, & Fire
He was a huge star and then had a terrible car crash that really messed up him and his career. Luckily for us he did get his life back together. He also starred in the poorly-rated Sgt Pepper's movie, which I kinda liked just for all the fun Beatles covers, especially Earth Wind and Fire's cover of Got to Get You Into My Life. Have you reacted to any EW&F?
Peter used to say no one knew I actually had legs because I’m never shown below the chest. Even his live album “Frampton Comes Alive” has him on the cover from the chest up.
Grreat video (The old analog films had such a great, warm, natural look as opposed to digital). And a great performance, a nice sunny day, full of emotion, fresh, good times!, Peter really connected with the crowd on this performance. Hard to believe many of those kids in that crowd are grandparents now!
I’ve always been a Frampton fan. Great memories of late night teenage bonfires. Saw him about ten years ago at the Royal theatre in Victoria. Small intimate crowd, Frampton on stage alone with his acoustic guitar. Jeans, t shirt and runners. Interacting with the audience. Wonderful show.
i saw him on tour when he was recording this live album, he was a popular artist also because of him being in the late 60s band Humble Pie, and hate to burst your bubble he is much older and bald now
This is the first time I've seen him do this song like this, with this free form live performance. I actually saw Frampton live three times in 72, 75 and 76.
I love your reactions to the music and the musicians. So glad you watch the videos so you see how much feeling they put into their videos. It take me back to the ‘70’s and ‘80’s when I first saw and heard all of these musicians. Tfs
Peter Frampton is one of the best artists ever. I saw him when I was young in a band called Humble Pie. And then he went out on his own and you see what he's doing in this concert alone. Awesomeness!!
Hey India I was at that concert..! He came to The Oakland Coliseum back in the mid 70's when he was on top..! He did a Day on the Green in 1976 and 1977 which I went to both years... And I believe Status Quo open the day, in fact i believe that day was billed as the British Are Coming because they were all English Bands..! Great Shows back in the day..!! Love your reactions..!!

Oh man! I had his poster in my room as a teen...loved him toooo much. This live version is missing some of the sweetness of the record. Hard to believe he's old and bald today. Still love him and thank him for filling my young heart with the hope of true love.
I was 15ish when this album came out. A couple boys from my neighborhood invited me and a friend to come up to his room to listen to this album for the first time. 4 teens stoned and laying around listening to Frampton. What great memories!

Lol. Watching you swoon to the young and foxy Peter Frampton made me laugh. I mean, not at you-it just reminded me of myself and every young girl when he came on the scene. No one had heard of him, and like overnight, his Frampton Comes Alive album was everywhere and everything. Give it a listen when you can. I think it’s still one of the best selling live albums ever.
Love Peter Frampton! Was my first concert ever in the 70's!

Frankenstein lives I think it came free with boxes of tide. -Wayne Campbell.
I love Peter Frampton thanks to my Dad. I actually went to his farewell concert in October. Best ever, he's so talented.
I wore out 3 copies of this album!
Loved the big ass poster that came with it. Took up half my bedroom wall.
I didn’t. But I thought he sure was cute. I heard it so much in the radio I felt no reason to buy it.
Frampton comes alive. That album is just awesome. Awesome.
Peter Frampton was possibly the biggest act in the mid to late 70's. Try, "show me the way", from frampton comes alive. And "I'm in you" as well.
Lines on My Face is great song, too!
avoid jumpin jack flash though eh?
@@flickdasher1775 what do you mean?
@@Hollingsworth2781 he does a version of jumpin jack flash on frampton comes alive. or, is it a different stones song?

Unfortunately all the hair is gone but Peter Frampton was and is a genuine true all around talent. Songwriter, singer and brilliant guitarist.
I've seen him live twice, young with long hair and old and bald.
A very underrated Frampton song is "Lines On My Face" . Even if you do not react to it it's worth checking out.
