Are you fucking kidding me the Iphone 7's screen was in much worse condition after the drop compared to the S7 Edge's screen. Round 4 should go to the S7 Edge. It even survived 50+ Bonus Drops to the screen. S7 Edge wins hands down.
look at the cost difference between a screen replacement for the iphone 7 vs s7 then you will realise the clear winner...
So because the replacement screen is more expensive for the s7, it's a bad phone?

Except you don't need a case for a phone to function properly. And there are a wide range of cases around the world available for iphone in general, compared to any android phone.
I can replace the s7s screen for around 3 dolars if I manage to not crack the amoled display.

U know why those "edge" phones can survive so many face drops and the screen still working? That's because the actual AMOLED screen is flexible on edge screens. That's how it bends under the glass to make the curved screen.

The only advantage of a glass back is that it's compatible to wireless charging, alluminum doesn't allow that. Except this glass back is just a construction failure, at least with iPhones you can hope it lands on the back to get almost 0 damage, with a Samsung you are both way getting a cracked screen probably.. And design is subjective, i prefer a lot more metal devices (HTC ftw), so your point isn't really that good :P

when youtuber Applepro did the test, the iPhone 7 not only survived face drop but also survived 10 feet drop but the results here were very different.
It was because the surface here was rough and the apple pro test he did it on a smooth surface

Also another droptest (i don't remember from which YT channel) dropped both the iP7 and the iP7+ multiple times and they never cracked the screen on the front. But drop results is mostly about luck, and probably (as others mentioned) the difference is due to the different surface

I completely understand your argument against this but these two phones are the only ones I care about. To me, the Iphone Plus is just too big, and I know the Samsung is large, but the edge on this thing is amazing to me. It's such a little part of the phone, but since I've seen it, I couldn't get over it. There are definitely reviews out their pitting the Iphone 7 Plus, and the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Why did you change the scoring system like that? The results are going to be really inconsistent unless you change all of the other phone's rankings as well. Basing it off of the bonus round and then suddenly changing it to the first four drops makes no sense at all.

also i think you misunderstand the point of the glass on both the phones, the glass is meant to protect the LCD screen, if it breaks its not an issue as the screen still works, the aim is for the LCD screen not to get damaged.
