Kroll's Korner silhouette has AMAZING customer service! Hop on the chat and they will get it sorted! They had to reset my license at one point because I had it on too many devices, so I’m sure they can help you!
Kroll's Korner you’ll want to export it as a png and choose a transparent background! then you can add it to your image! Or you can even build the entire pinnable image in silhouette studio and export it as a png from there!
Love your tutorial. I have AI but am not well versed (someday!). The problem I am running into is that I am trying to make sticker sheets with design space since I have a cricut. I am trying to utilize the max cutting space by putting a lot of stickers on one sheet (typically just a repeat sticker) but by the time I am done, DS can't seem to handle the file size. Everything just crashes. Any tips on compressing the SVG in AI before exporting since I only need the outline to be a cut line (the word itself will just be the print for the pretty sticker). I can't seem to figure it out. Help!!
Do I need to own a Silhouette in order to download their software? I have a Cricut Maker and was wondering if I can purchase the Silhouette Studio just to use it in conjunction with my Cricut.

I had a Silhouette before a Cricut so I was already pretty well versed in Silhouette Studio. When I went to try out Inkscape I felt like it wasn't as easy. It is a personal opinion for sure!
SIRT 13 you can get it using the link in the video description for $79.99! You can see if the code “get5” works! Not sure if it works on digital products- but if it does, it’ll save you another 5%!
You could look at SCAL 5 as on offer it’s cheaper than SS. I am not sure how they compare as a business/professional edition will be full of features! Depends on what you need it for. I like scal as it’s not too complicated and does everything I need. Then I just upload to DS
I downloaded Silhouette software with no trouble. My problem is that I don't have a Mac and am unable to save my file like you did. When I saved to hard drive the whole screen saved, not my offset/shadow "happy birthday" file. Any advice would be helpful.
@@KarleyHall that's a bummer. I just dabble ; I don't do this for a business, so I guess I won't be able to do this offset. I hope someday Cricut will have this option.

Where it says current version- to the right, click on either windows/ Mac depending on your computer :) that’ll start the download for free.
These programs seem very similar to inkscape. Which is free, particulars on why not use the free program?

Terri in order to save the file as I did- you need to purchase business edition. There is a link to where you can get it for the lowest price! :)

I’m personally not a fan. I felt like the user experience was extremely difficult compared to the Silhouette and cricut machines!
My goodness DS kinda sucks in comparison! But thank goodness Cricut got that Joy and all its specialized extra new products rolled out... 😒🙄
