Hello from Melbourne, Australia where it was 41 degrees C yesterday and hard to imagine needing a hat with a four layer brim atm! Loving your podcasts and I love the idea of a fisherman’s smock style jumper.
Well this is a treat!! Grateful to find you thanks to a fiber friend - it's lovely to see you're knitting my Intersections pattern, and in some of favorite yarn at that! A strong cup of tea and you'll set that cable back on track in no time 😅😊
Hi, my name is Kate and I'm watching from the Shetland Islands. I'm loving your videos. Your designs are fabulous. I'm looking forward to seeing the 'fisherman's smock' jumper. I love seeing the sheep and fleeces. All those sheep are of interest to me. Keep these videos going. They are so interesting.
Brilliant, love the idea of the fisher folk smock👍.And the wonky cable on the sock, just go with it, it makes it uniquely yours and no one is ever going to know, except me🤭
@@Knitsweaveswalks thank you, I’m excited to get the smock all knitted up and finished. Yeah I think the naughty cable will stay, at least they both match
Hi, I’m a 1/4 Cornish and proud to be so! I’m so glad to have found your new vlog and would love to hear about the sheep, wool production and of course the knitting too. You have some great designs!
Your videos are a delight. My family have spent many happy holidays in Cornwall, the scenery makes me feel very nostalgic. I was smiling throughout. Love Moose too. ❤❤
First time seeing your video, liked and subscribed, I'm a fan of the heritage breeds and had a Jacob flock (plus a few Cotswold) for many years. Retired now, but still a knitter and spinner, I'm in Michigan, USA
Hi Anton, wow, it's so lovely to see you combine surfing and knitting!! My family also surf and but since we currently lived in Taiwan we don't see a lot of surfers wearing knits after a session or more, but it's good to know that it's an option! I really enjoy the part you explained a bit of history on fishing smock!! It's very interesting!!
🏄♂️ 🐑 such a good combo! I will definitely be getting more into the history of Cornish knitwear in a future episode, it’s a big passion of mine and inspires a lot of my design work
Really enjoying your podcasts and seeing your sheep/fleece and yarns you are creating with John Arbon. Your designs are terrifice - looking forward to seeing more. Please keep dropping in the lovely scenes from your surroundings. They are stunning!
Just discovered you, enjoyed episode 2 very much, and am now subscribed. I hope you WILL show us all your hand knits over time, particularly the ones you knit before starting your RUclips channel!
Enjoyed the podcast very much. Always love to see the local landscape, the beautiful beach views,,,,,,,,, I’ll be looking forward to seeing you next time. Good job👍🏼
You are delightful. It’s a pleasure to watch you. The landscape is dreamy. Can’t wait for more and try out your patterns. Hugs from Provence, Adrien ❤🧶🐑
@ my pleasure really! I’d sign up for your retreats in a heartbeat but I have to save up first! Oh and I hope you’ll get some fiber for sale again in the future
Gorgeous fisherman smock. Love the rich, deep colour. I forgot about the Baa hat pattern. I've got that somewhere! Hmm a quick knit for my craft loving granddaughter. Great start to your you tube journey. xxJane 🎄🌼
Love your vlog, Anton! Looking forward to watching progress on the Fisherman’s Smock. If I were the one knitting the socks, I’d leave the miscrossed cable alone. Knitting one at a time would be a different story, since it wouldn’t be so fiddle to go back and repair.
Thank you again for wonderful content 🙏🧶🙏just bought some of your gorgeous Storm on the Horizon and will make something special with that for sure! Looking forward to more episodes 🌈🙏
Hello again! I’m binging your episodes! 😂 I would love to see your silvery grey yarn knit up in any kind of sample. I don’t really wear dark colors so that’s the only yarn color I’m thinking about buying from your site. Thank you and I’m loving your channel 😊
I am excited to stumble on your new channel! I am a vlogger from Texas and I am looking forward to seeing more of your process of sheep to project! I will definitely pass this info on during Vlogmas.
I never had second sock syndrome, but I had to start knitting TAAT socks and sleeves because I was tired of everything coming out mismatched haha😅. I love your new podcast, I’m a knitter and a spinner (got my first fleece this year!) and I’m so excited for the future videos!
Really enjoyed this. I love the idea of doing the theist knit of the fisherman smock… and I don’t volunteer to test knit that often. Please let me know how to help with this.
greetings from a new subscriber in the northwest corner of Iceland -- I'm not a sheep farmer myself, but all of my nearby neighbors are (plus one eider farmer), and recently I've begun to fantasize about somehow setting up a mini-mill to create some local Westfjords wools... maybe someday. in the meantime, taking some inspiration from your story!
Found you through Martin at Knit365. Really have enjoyed the mix of videos, I definitely think I’ll be staying!! I tend to knit a lot of fingering weight yarn as I live in Perth, Western Australia - it hit 40.4 degrees Celsius yesterday. No Aran weight needed here unfortunately.
Greetings, Anton, from Iowa, USA! I am enjoying your videos after finding them today. I wish I could knit right handed like you are doing but for some reason the hands just do not cooperate (must be my German DNA 😉). Looking forward to seeing more of your handling of the sheep and fleeces and what goes into the production of your yarns. Best of luck on your new venture!!
I found your wool through Jonathan and I love it. I also adore your Christmas box and hope you’ll continue to do them. Although December goes by much too fast and I try to enjoy every moment of it, I honestly can’t wait for the next week to come around so I could open your wonderful Christmas goodies! A “dyed in the wool” fan here from the US ❤
My only question is why haven’t you vlogged sooner?! And wow you can squat for a long time 🤣 your sheep are sooooooo cute and I love seeing Cornwall ❤ I have some of your yarn from unravel and I’m going to cast on a hat for husband this weekend ❤
I just found you because of Martyn knit 365 😂… I am from switzerland 🇨🇭 and would love to get some of your wool❤… but the shipping is kind of holding me back😢
Hi Anton yet another interesting video, did your mother teach you to knit? It was my grandmother who taught me many moons ago and I have loved it since then.
It was my grandmother also, she sat me down with all my female cousins and sister and I proceeded to wave the knitting needle around like a magic wond until finally I knitted a small scarf for my teddy bear haha
lovely to see a man knitting and your more gender friendly designs will suit me far more ( im not a girly girl ) cant wait too see more vids from you !

I love getting raw fleeces, especially with good colors.
They can produce such amazing colours right!

Oh I’m so glad I found your channel. I love your very calming vibe and find the fleece and sheep content fascinating.
A great podcast, really enjoyed it, love the WIPS and yarn, all I need now is more time and pennies, so much I want to knit !
Thank you. Two sock don't need to match.
For sure ! 👌
I would definitely leave that rogue cable the thought of unpicking and magic looping is scary! #TeamDPN haha
@@knit365blog it’s definitely staying, the fact that I’m doing it two at a time means they both match as well, so it’s staying haha
