Idk what is with the casting but personally all the middle aged or older ? characters like Zhong Li or Neuvillette have such lighter voices in JP than in other languages. It would be nice if we can change the voice individually for the specific language that we like. Arknights has this and I think it's super cool how you can have all your characters speaking different languages in battle.

I still prefer the English VA. It sounds intimidating, but not over the top. I spoke to the English VA in person and he described Capitano as someone that doesn't need to display power because he knows he is powerful and isn't trying to flaunt it and I see that most in the English VA. He isn't trying to be intimidating, he is being matter of fact. His presence is intimidating enough and his voice, while not the most intimidating one among the 4, still solidifies that he is no joke. He also gives me dark hero vibes and I love that.
