@Cody Bowman the thermosphere is NOT 3000 degrees. Spacecraft get that hot when falling through it due to friction, but it is a LOT colder than that, close to freezing

N/A N/A For instance Flat Earth believers still can't answer why is the sun setting much later at the top of the mountain than at the bottom (of course because of the earth's curvature the sun is setting on different times depending on the height), but I usually don't bring that up, because they run out of ideas and stop answering :P It spoils the fun. They always claim that they see stuff they should not see. Well there are pills for that problem :D

Just listen to this vid and look, Brandon Hunt. In the first seconds you already know and feel with all your guts that it is not a vid that is made to educate people about truth, but it is made to bring down anyone who is searching for truth and has valid questions about what is presented by so called established science. Listen to the tone of the voices and look at their body language and see how denigrating towards questioning humans the monologue out of the positioning in absolute unquestionable authority is produced.

What about a commercial pilot who flies London to Dubai, to Delhi, to Honolulu, to Los Angeles and back to London? The flat earthers say they're going in a circle?
I live above the polar circle and during the summer we have 24hr of daylight where the Sun stays above the horizon at all times. During the winter it is always below the horizon and we never see the Sun. A flat-earther have no explanation of this and still believe Earth is flat.

The best argument I heard was that “it is only a trick of the light”.
It is because the sun travels between the tropic of cancer and the tropic of capricorn throughout the year. During the summer, the sun is closest to the tropic of cancer and the highest it will be in the sky. That is why you see it for 24 hours during the summer. During the winter, the sun is at the tropic of capricorn and too far away for you to see it. It is also at it's lowest height.

When you are near the North Pole the stars rotate counter-clockwise around Polaris....but when you're near the South Pole (southern wall...is that what you call it?), the stars rotate clockwise.
This is true for the Sun as well (North poles in summer its making counterclockwise circles & South Pole summer is makes clockwise circles)
I've observed this personally, as well as millions of people who live in each hemisphere can tell you. You can prove it without science, mathematics, you don't need a PhD. It's so simple. A spinning spherical earth is the only explanation....

My dad is a legit flat Earther and thinks a firmament is over Earth; His proof is a commercial that showed imagery of water over a planet (he thinks the CGI guys were just trying to get a message out about the Earth having that subtly or some shit) and the Bible (of course)
You wouldn't believe...
Three points.
1. I am a lifelong fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs. In his "Carson of Venus" series, the Venusians had a similar model of their world because the planet was cloaked in clouds and they never saw the heavens or even the Sun. They placed their pole at the rim and the equator at the center too. They were able to "rationalize" their model by simply multiplying all nautical values by the square root of minus one. And, as Carson said "it's pointless to argue anything with someone who can multiply anything by the square root of minus one."
2. As a lad, I lived in San Diego and Dad and I would sometimes watch naval vessels sail west from port until they disappeared over the horizon. This would not happen with a flat earth.
3. Some years later I had the opportunity to fly on the Concorde and see the curvature of the earth from 60,000ft. Funny. It cost me about 8 times as much to fly to Europe on the Concorde than it cost to fly back to the states on a 747. There are times I wish the ratio had been inverted and I had simply stayed there!

We are now talking about competition between nations driving the space programs of the cold war era. Here's an idea...
International cooperation for the good of humanity! It could, and should, begin with "space mining". Let's go to heavenly bodies that contain precious resources and send those resources back to a starving earth. Those efforts would then fund further exploration and exploitation. And, of course, if all governments shared the benefits they could also simply ignore the cost.
What is money? No one really knows and it is, ultimately, an irrelevant question. If all mankind, or a very sizeable portion thereof, get behind the effort the governments of the world could simply write off the cost and declare it null and void. We decide to do it and we devote the resources to accomplish the task. The actual resources; the metal, the fuel, and even the man hours, do not in any way take away from the basic needs of anyone.
The Apollo Program cost billions of dollars. What are dollars? At the time said dollars were defined by gold and currency. What is the value of gold? Whatever we decide it's worth today. What is currency? Scraps of paper. Now? "Money" is simply a function of an algorithm. It is, literally, an abstraction with no inherent value.
Money, in and of itself, has no value other than what the people exchanging it say it is worth. There is no gold standard. There is no oil standard. There is no resource standard. All of these "standards" are merely artifacts of a bygone era when, for example and as Monty Python asserted, "those guards cost 50 pounds each!"

My science teachers hated me because I asked questions all the time. I hated chemistry because I always felt like they were lying to me until one chem prof told me that I didn't have enough knowledge behind me to understand the answers to the questions I was asking. When I got to grad level P-Chem I did get some of my answers. The problem with our education system is that it does not encourage kids to ask questions but instead squashes those questions. And secondly, it does not encourage kids use critical thinking and analysis. Everything is set based on "feelings" instead.

According to plane geometry, eight inches times the distance squared, we at least should be able to measure said curvature, even if we can't observe it. I can't afford a space ride, as you probably can't either, so I use mathematics. Numbers don't lie, people do.

you can infact see the curvature of the earth at that height. not well out of a small plane window, but the pilot could from the front for sure. but the problem your getting is not to look for the curvature in the direction your heading because thats impossible, but to look for the curvature on the horizon (from left to right) and from that altitude with minimal cloud conditions, its visible and measurable

Flattards must concede that- by this logic- absolutely EVERYTHING (both land and monumental man-made structures) should be visible anywhere on earth between the observer and that star-studded perimeter given a clear line of sight and powerful enough telescope. *Yet reality begs to differ.* In most cases we cannot even see to the opposite shore of a large lake, let alone to the opposite side of the fucking earth lmao.
Furthermore, the *angular diameters* of these stars perpetually remain *absolutely constant-* failing to grow or shrink due to "perspective" regardless of how high we ascend in altitude, and despite *how far south we travel.* This would be absolutely impossible if stars were as small and close as flattards claim. Stars as observed in the southern hemisphere (looking south) would be *MUCH larger* (more representative of their true size) than their northern counterparts- which really shouldn't be visible at all due to this all-elusive and mysterious "vanishing point."
Finally, stars on the horizon line should remain FIXED- remaining in the exact same spot on the horizon for all observers regardless of where they are located on earth. This is most certainly not the case; each hemisphere contains an entirely unique set (half sphere) of stars which- when unified as a coherent whole- form the *celestial sphere* that can ONLY be accurately plotted and represented on (and by) a *star globe* due to the indisputable nature of earth's rotundity :)
Flat-earthers do not claim that there is a vanishing point, official science claims that, 3C-Bromo-Dragonfly. Search on the internet for how perspective works. Using this perspective knowledge and acknowledging the vanishing point plus observing the night sky yourself will teach you that clouds obstruct viewing the stars and the farther away horizontally the stars are in your view, the more clouds will be able to obstruct your view on stars. I doubt if you would see any stars close to the horizon.

Hi there, i have a serious question for you TheBear. I'm curious about the conspiracy as to why...they are covering it up? What do they have to gain? Is this about the bible?

drop the ego and do some extensive research. its a big life changing moment when you go through the realization, its tough but if you figure out how to think harder than normally than you should be fine

I've done land surveying and believe me, I found no land that is flat but mostly consist of varied elevations and contours.
They can't fix the potholes in my city but we can go to space 🚀🤣

when I was like 3 years old I must have thought that the moon was the size of a ceiling lamp. Flat earthers are stuck in that stage.
Do Flat Earthers make sure to hold their meetings somewhere near the center? Don't want to get close to the edge and fall off... am I right guys?
