I worked for Beyonce at the HOUSTON Stadium for 7 days and she arrived there the second day practicing four to five times a day with everyone and graciously treated us all like gold, even paying for all of our food and when she decided to make a costume change, she told everyone who was wearing black that they must wear white and she purchased all of the white clothes for all 500 of us working… I have a totally different perspective about this woman. She is a class act and it was an honor to work for her.💯🙏🏾

I remember my mom playing his 8 tracks. But he was a man. Hootie and the blow fish. But she was so big already in her big lane I think old white men saw her coming and clutched their pearls and their old low hanger pink Grey haired grandpa balls shriveled back up like they were toddlers. Oh snap. 😳. That was a donald trump insult by proxy. 🤪😝. But I don't think she was giving the finger. I think she was just saying watch me do this and shine. Wait. Hold up. That's kind of the same thing I guess. Ah you right. She gave them the finger. My bad. 🤪

White history is literally everywhere. The great conquerors of everywhere in the world… colonized every corner of the lands. Movie after movie being made about their kings n queens…even their mobster from the mob are glorified and documented to be powerful n great though they were all great MURDERERS. N it is still happening. I.e Ukraine and the genocide of the Palestinians people. Their history is always taught but spun in away where they GASLIGHT EVERYONE including their own people as well into believing they have conquered n created EVERYTHING that is good and great in the world. But when it is dirty and evil manipulative systematic destruction against a people or now poor folks…they control the narratives to paint a clever lie. They tell us what to believe when showing us the truth. Too bad too many of prefer to be told. Unfortunately too many white folks don’t care who (it) be it land, deeds, ideas, music, inventions, religions etc…belonged to, how it was stolen or whom was killed for it to be obtained. How they benefit matters.

It's the Parents, guardians other relatives responsibility to learn and teach kids.
Because they never taught a lot of stuff in school anyway.
Trump said on Fox he is going to cut funding for any schools that teach Black history.
I learned about Black cowboys like Bill Pickett from reading books and my mother took me to the library.
I didn't know anything about Bass Reeves until I saw the TV show Drunk History 10 yrs ago.
They did teach Black history in school, they only taught the basic stuff.
      The same people every year.
We have so much history that has never been talked about.
Not just Black history, history period.
      I didn't know anything about
The Six Triple Eight until the Tyler Perry movie on Netflix.
Black women in the military during WW2 they never mentioned that in schools. Tyler Perry and Kerry Washington did a good job 👍🏾.
I never knew about Trail of Tears,
The Five Civilized Tribes or how the government put Japanese in intermittent camps during WW2.
Trump wants everyone, especially Blacks to be dumb, ignorant and uneducated like his voters.
Republicans don't want Blacks to learn about their own history or anyone else.
They want people to be ignorant like Kanye, when he said slavery was a choice.
Black communities everywhere need to educate the kids and adults who want to learn.
They got rid of Black history in school in places like Alabama and Florida.
Kids are going out of their way in Florida to learn about Black History on their day off from schools, on Saturdays.
That's how bad they want to learn about their own history.

Not to mention that a lot of people must haven’t done their research or history about black cowboys and country music. Country music is OUR culture as well. Also, there should be better black awards shows (that aren't controlled by wyte execs). If I had the coin, I'd create an awards show that would eclipse the Grammys, the Oscars, all of them. I don't, but some of these black celebrities do.

For real-----she didn't need the country music gatekeepers' permission to make her own country album. It's amazing how white folks still wanna act like black folks who comes from the same parts of the South as they do, and listen to and like the same country music they do, can't sing or play that same country music, which black people helped create to begin with. Country music has been too damn lily-white for just over a century now---it's past time for that nonsense to change, and it has changed, thankfully, with more of these black country artists hitting the country charts.

Beyonce's singing of the Blackbird, especially the crazy note when she got to the "into the night .." was bone-chilling for me. Beyoncé threw a middle finger to the CMAs for snubbing black country artists and the country world noticed, that’s why there’s mixed reactions. The only one they praise is Darius Rucker, who also came from hip hop! But I guess him being married to a Lilly white woman and acting like a dude name Brad gets him the love and acknowledgement other black country artists don’t get. You have to show them your about their music only meanwhile half of country radio today has pop and hip hop influences. Just another reason for us to create our own 🤷🏾‍♂️

He's come out in the last several years talking about how difficult it was for him to get a foot in the door of country music at first, but also about the racism he had to deal with when he was the lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish----apparently some people couldn't process the fact that he was actually the lead singer of the group, and not some white dude. He even did an R&B album back in 2002, but it got very little promotion. He's a proud black man who is not even remotely trying to be white---look up some recent interviews he's done.
Point being, black people should be able to sing whatever the hell kind of music they want, just like white people have always been able to do. This outdated idea that black people can only sing R&B, jazz, or rap, and nothing else is way past old and tired. That has more to do with the racist attitudes of the music business toward black artists and sticking them in boxes more than anything else.

@ this isn’t an argument about his beginnings, he’s the most respected black country artist today, don’t care how it started and there’s nothing proud about him. Not in a black way, this has nothing to do with singing I just don’t see a black man when I see him. Not changing. He can try and sound relatable but just not my kind of crowd.

They want to be wanted. They want us to seek their validation. So, if we don't do that and we do things on our own terms, they get angry. They want the right to refuse us. When Beyonce performed with The Chicks at the CMAs before, they LOVED that because it gave them an opportunity to reject her to her face! Conversely, when Billy Ray Cyrus performed with Lil Nas X at the BET Awards, black folks welcomed him and danced and got their life.
These people have dark, unwelcoming spirits that are greedy for black folks' attention...but only so they can throw it back in our faces and try to prove a superiority that doesn't exist. The best thing to do is to pay them DUST and keep doing you, and I love every time Beyonce does that!

Glad you all are discussing this. I have seen this all over social media 😂#1 They can't ant culturally appropriate Country Music or Cowboys either.
#2 Modern country music doesn't sound like the original. It has evolved with vibes of (pop, rock, blues, alternative, disco, gospel, rap, and r&b). People are being selective when in music theory they are just wrong. B is doing her take on Country. You don't have to be a fan or like her to understand music theory.
#3 I seen so many miserable critics who even go as far as to take shots at her daughter "shes not a star." Blu has put in work. She was on one of the grandest stages. Regardless of who her parents are, a mature adult uplifts the youth and empower them. The special guests who are country artists who made cameos, some wanted to act like they weren't there because they destest B. Crazy.

What pisses them off is she has mastered the craft in a genre they thought belong solely to them and their culture. They don’t say anything when one of them becomes rappers, gospel artists or r&b singers. But, it’s a deadly sin for Beyonce to perform country!! The caucasity of it all!!!

Ya'll are talking about YT folks in the comments, but some of Beyonce's biggest haters are her own people. Since the "Black is King" album, she has been sending the Black community love letters. She's been reminding us of who we are, what we've contributed and the magic that exists within our ability to create our own existence. It pains me to see how many Black people are pitted against her. We really are our own worst enemies. In true artist fashion, Beyonce won't be appreciated the way she should be until she's gone.

    • @ThatsMeDoctorD
      @ThatsMeDoctorD 18 дней назад +1

This comment is so strange to me in that you (and so many others) talk about Beyoncé and fight for her as if you know her personally and as if she’s God. Instead of “Black is King”, how about acknowledging that JESUS IS KING?? Okay, she’s been sending the Black community “love letters”, and here it is that GOD (JESUS) wrote the greatest love letter (THE BIBLE) and showed the greatest act of Love for the WORLD (no one color/race/culture/ethnicity). THE WHOLE WORLD. Why does anyone else need to “remind” us of our identity when the CREATOR (JESUS) tells us that in His word??!! We don’t truly “create” anything, but we were CREATED TO SERVE GOD. Everything that exists was made by HIM. It pains me to see so many people acknowledging a CREATED BEING while rejecting the CREATOR. Yes, WE are our own worst enemy, because we follow, trust, worship, praise, and believe people more than we do GOD (JESUS). Christ was physically crucified by those whom He came to SAVE…God is still “crucified” through humankind’s rejection of Him. Jesus wasn’t appreciated then or now. Why should Beyoncé (a mere mortal) be any different?! Forget about these things that will ALL pass away! If we were as focused on the state of our souls, we’d all be in much better shape. What does it profit any of us to gain the entire world (all the Grammys in the world) and lose our VERY SOUL??!! We are totally missing it!!! May GOD help us!!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    • @voicelover23
      @voicelover23 18 дней назад

@ThatsMeDoctorD Christianity, as you believe it, has served to literally enslave Black people, both mentally and physically.
My comments do not treat Beyonce like a God. I recognize her as an artist who is utilizing her gifts to provide a message to the people with whom she shares a culture. If that's foreign to you, then you really don't understand the idea of God and the ways in which we are meant to show up in this life (being of service to others).
And if I'm "fighting for" her, it's because so many people hurl negativity her way, literally for no reason - labeling her evil and demonic, because she chooses to lean into various aspects of original Black culture. That's CRAZY.
You don't like Beyonce, but here you are watching a video about her and writing an irrelevant diatribe in response to a comment that I made regarding her artistry. Perhaps you're the strange one..
