the only issue with the GBA one is the music playing every single time there is no guns being fired. it gets tiring pretty quickly. apart from that, excelent pocket version.

I know macs are not great for gaming but this is a unique case there playing the iOS version on a Mac with a gamepad is arguably the best way to play this game
Android / iOS version looks the best. Honestly, as limited GBA is, they tried their best. Instead of going for some half assed semi-3D, they did a nice isometric version of the game. Looks faithful to the original.
Now I understand what's the problem with mobile version. Aspect ratio isn't as original pc version. I want to have pc aspect ratio. Max Payne looks normal in pc. He looks like slender Man in mobile.

Although, i liked ps2 version.

The GBA version has some stages missing, but still, its pretty good for a GBA port.

I do miss the bright muzzle flashes on the ground though from PC and PS2. It was a really nice touch.

The GBA Max Payne was actually a test project for Mobius Entertainment (now Rockstar Leeds) to be acquired by Rockstar Games.
We need remake of this masterpiece on Max Payne 3 engine or something.

On Series X Max Payne 1 & 2 run at 4k 60fps...they hold up pretty well too.
Ps2 version with 3x resolution on pcsx2 looks really good.

Actually the mobile version is the original aspect ratio. It's just on the other ports are stretched out to a different ratio.

Has anyone else noticed that the Android version uses the exact same dying sound every time Max shoots someone.
Also when we Slow down or do Bullet Time, the gun sounds do not decrease pitch like in the original. And the bullet ejection is also absent in Mobile.
