@@palakkadanlocalticket unlike a violin, pianos dont increase in value with age, their hardware deteriorate and even when fully refurbished it rarely becomes as good as it was when new (i have a kawai grand like that). very few piano companies like a Steinway retains some value. the upright piano, Blüthner is a good german brand. English pianos are not desirable generally. but then again, a price of a commodity is what people are prepared to pay. if they get the asking price for it, good on them..
