I’m glad the talc free powder is less matte and more hydrating because I’ve been having trouble stopping my under eye from creasing and causing dry patches when setting my concealer. I hope this powder helps I purchased it yesterday 😁

I guess I'm the only one that sees a little difference. The side with the original powder looks smoother, more blurred and less cakey when you first applied them. But I can't tell a difference in the finished look.
I liked the original side a lot more too I wasn’t seeing any blur at all with the new side.
Queen~I’m not going to purchase this or any new powders until I’m completely done with the numerous powders I have. Awesome for LM to release a talc free so long after they’ve given so many powders that are not.

The original is for oily skin that’s why it’s matte and super dry. The new one is for dry skin. I have dry skin and I tried the original and returned it my eyes was so dry it looked crusty 😭
With the original u have to make sure that ur base is hydrated. Let me know how the new one works for u 💖
Did you ever try the new one ? Sorry I’m late but I have dry skin and I find no matter what I do or how much I moisturize that powder looks so dry under the eyes
@@c-london1147 it dries the under eye so much. It makes one look much older. I never use it for under eye.

I feel the talc free also leaves a little bit of tint to the skin, or perhaps its due to the different colours of the powders
I find that the talc free is a little luminous but the shades are pretty much the same
Personally I will be trying the new talc free powder as I think the original is a little drying over time. Thanks for your review it was very helpful 😊

Agreed. I have a oily combination skin and when I set my under eyes it's more Matt that I would like it to be. I'm going to be trying this talc free powder.

I’m probably the one odd ball but the original Laura Mercier powder is not in my top faves of loose powders and I probably own upwards of 50 loose powders. Maybe I should try the talc free? 🤔
You are not the only one. Her powder just never worked for me. Just too heavy.
I loveeee the original but I know not a lot of people like the finish. Give the talc free a try and let me know what u think because both powders wear really well just different finishes. 💖

I tried the talc free after finishing the original and it was super dry, cakey, showed my fine lines etc.. I had to return it. It made me look like a ghost.

i do not like the new powder...the shine was a no and it did not set me for long. The original gets the job done for me. i have combo more oily skin and I need matte and the original does that.
The OG is me fav too I just don’t like a glowy under eye.
Okay I think the original side look way better…. The Talc free side look so Cakey and kinda shows all your fine lines…I wish it looked so good like the original…

Why do you use the honey color? You don’t look like you have yellow or olive undertone…you look like your undertones are orange or red which would look perfect with the ‘deep’ color they have.
Because I prefer a bright under eye I hate that the deep shades makes my under eyes look like a Oompa Loompa. If I’m using a red powder for my under eye I prefer pink undertone.

As soon as I saw she was dropping this 🍃👀🍃 I KNEW it was a cash grab. Nothing in her line really sells but the powder and the brand has been grabbing at straws for a while. Laura doesn't own it anymore.
