Raid was made with low budget yet it left an amazing brutal taste when watching the fight scenes. John wick attempted to take it and improve it and bring it as a west edition.

Wheras Cassian gets his knife out with a flourish. 1:03 - Wick is looking around the subway car, but Cassian is staring daggers at Wick the whole time, which shows John's professionalism, compared to Cassian who's letting his emotions get the better of him. Cassian was built up during the movie as though he was John's equal, but still in the assassin game. But, here it's a subtle nod that John still has the edge over Cassian.
when I was 6, I was in NYC at Little Caesar's Pizza with my parents and little sister waiting on lunch. an Asian guy barged in the entrance with a broom handle and attacked a black guy then ran out. made a loud noise, handle maybe hit the wall. it was freaking scary, but none of us reacted, we stood still in the opposite corner. if you can't run, you usually want to stay out of the way and watch to make sure you don't get in the crossfire at 1:55, you do see a passenger get up and move to give himself some distance. what did you expect, the passengers leave the moving train?
Cassian: One of the very few individuals that can nearly match John Wick in Will, Perseverance, Killing Intent, and Skill. To make John work up a sweat and force him to survive his encounters compared to other assassins as passerby’s or just fodder. I do hope we can see Cassian again in Chapter 4 along with the rest of the cast from Chapter 3 that survived.
Meanwhile with a grandma spectating the fight: *”Oh, looks like you boys are having fun!”* I also enjoy the fact that the fight is attracting more passengers rather than scaring them off until the last station
You can see the difference in this fight and the previous one between them. John was exhausted before the first fight even began and their fight started with Cassian trying to run him over. Cassian really found out what it was like fighting John Wick on top of his game in this fight.
He’s still alive, he didn’t pull it out becuz he respect Cassian. They probably were friends at one point or was close to some degree when it came to doing hits with one another. Plus John expects Gianna’s henchmen and Chief of Security Cassian to hunt him down for coming for her.
I love how it seems like Cassian is stronger due to being younger and because of John being out of his prime, but at the same time John seems to offset that by being much more skilled
The only reason the people in that train didn't panic or ran far back to different spot in the train is because this is a common thing to happen in the Wick Universe. People, even the police, know and are aware of the assassin organization going on and that makes this movie way more than I thought it would be.
