      David Considering Well considering that I am a millennial, I'd hardly say I hate myself. Note I said, "garden-variety," as in the typical, but not all-encompassing.

      We're fine! We recorded this video last week. We're filming a new video this week about the earthquake to also ask all of you to donate if you can, for the affected people that lost everything on the tragedy. You can go to our FB page or instagram to learn how to donate! We made a post about it! Thanks for caring!

    I don't think every single person in this video would be considered a Millennial (1981-1996). I believe anyone born 1997-2013 is considered Gen Z.

    Mi percepción de los milenios es que somos ya sea trabajamos tan duro para presentarnos al mundo y hacernos un nombre, o participamos en diferentes tipos de activismo para cambiar el mundo. Muchos milenios luchan por el medio ambiente, por los derechos de los animales y para crear un mundo completamente vegano. Tienen una mente mucho más clara, moderna e inteligente cuando se trata de política. Tienen una mente (como se mencionó en el vídeo) muy abierto y acepta de las personas lgbt, a las personas de diferentes nacionalidades y tambien son menos religiosos y piensan en el futuro en una manera científica y sostenible. Somos en general más conscientes de las problemas en el mundo, menos violentos y creo que estamos más sanos tambien. 😊

      Luis Ángel no snow? Lol its because in all his videos the people are in tshirts

    • @AngelGrelia
      @AngelGrelia 7 лет назад +1

      Yes, snows. At least once a year in the north and central highlands. In February roads and highways were closed because of this. The climate of Mexico City is special. Spring (sunny) (12°/26°), Summer (very rainy) (12°/23°), Autumn (rainy) (10°/20°), Winter (dry) (5°/19°). Only in the mornings is it cold in winter, so they don't need coats all day. Northern Mexico has a climate similar to Spain and in the south it's never cold, just beaches, palm trees and jungle.

      Quiero visitar Mexico porque quiero ver (conocer ¨to know¨ might sound better, but maybe u simply wanted ¨to see¨) LAS ruinas antiguas, y tambien mejorar mi español. Hace solo seis meses que empece a aprender español, y este es el español que puedo ESCRIBIR Y HABLAR despues DE HABER ESTUDIADO. No ME siento fuerte sobre mi español todavia. Pero si este ES el español que HE PODIDO APRENDER despues de seis meses, quiza puedo ser fluido con mucho mas tiempo, no? (I think we use ¨¿no? to ask for confirmation in Spanish) ASI LO ESPERO!!! Gracias por ESTOS videos, son DE MUCHA ayuda!! Por favor diganme ( ¨please, you people tell me¨. ¨dime¨ is adressed to only one person, a person you know) todos LOS errores que hice en este mensaje! Quiero aprender aun mas!! Espero entiendan (again, ¨Hope you people undestand¨, ¨entiendas¨ is adresses to a person u know) LO que ESCRIBÍ!
      I deleted some words cuz I could not place them in the sentences you maybe wanted.
      You will find, in cappital letters, the corrected words or phrases, and the added ones that your sentences needed.
      I like your election of the word ¨cuanto¨, but I deleted it cuz It was too much with what u already had, but good word tho.
      If this is the Spanish u have learnt with just 6 months, congrats!!! You r doing great! and SI, I believe you can become fluent with a little more time. just worry about past perfect and simple past in some verbs, and how you adress the verbs, I mean, whether they should adressed to a group of people or just one person.
      Congrats dude you are doing fantastico!!.
      P: Sorry for the mess, I wanted you to understood the modifications I had done.

    • @callmeswivelhips8229
      @callmeswivelhips8229 6 лет назад

      WOW! Thank you so much for all the help, this is amazing! I've definitely learned some things here.
      1.) I would never have thought of using a separate conjugation for referring to a group of people like that because of how English is structured. The closest we get is replacing "you" with "y'all" ("you all" becomes "y'all", get it?) So writing "entienden" instead of entiendas when referring to a group of people is revolutionary for me. Rarely do we make this distinction in English. "You" just seems to be a general catch all term for both depending on context.
      2.) It's very helpful to see some of my use of case corrected to past perfect for me. Now I have a much better idea of where and when I would prefer to use the case by instinct in my own natural speech. Thank you for that. I rather like past perfect.
      I'm confused by the use of the word "LO" in the last sentence. It's use there doesn't seem to translate in my head for the sentence. "ASI LO ESPERO" also confuses me.
      THANK YOU so much for the corrections! I haven't been studying lately, but I am looking around for a language partner now in my area that is also learning.

    • @christiansoza7023
      @christiansoza7023 6 лет назад

      Espero entiendan -lo- que escribí, might literally be translated as ¨Hope y´all understand -the thing- that I wrote¨, if you check, with the Eng translation, it makes more sense, the word ¨lo¨ is used as a reference for the thing previously stated ¨the message¨. As yesterday, I asked my mom, and today I asked my mom and my little sister, both agreed ¨lo¨ was mandatory, and made the sentence correct, rather than whithout it.
      ¨Asi lo espero¨ is more a phrase I guess, but if you do the translation and study the collocation for every word, the rule I just explained, and the common sense of us, repeats itself:
      ¨Asi lo espero¨....¨Like that-that thing-I hope¨. ¨Like that-you uploading more videos-I hope¨.
      I know it is hard to understand, and translating sometimes might be more confusing,cuz it does not make sense in one´s language.
      If this reaussures you, it is not the first time why I ask myself why we use ¨lo,la,los,las¨ in that position, I have been trying to come up with a more concrete rule, but sometimes it can be hard to reach.
      Hope this whole mess has been helpful to you!

      This explanation MAKES COMPLETE SENSE TO ME!! Thank you so much! I have confidence I will be able to pin point when to use the word, now that I have a translation and contextual example. I will think of it as "the thing", and as a reference. I don't know how or why that makes it so much easier for me to understand, but it does. It just fits into my lexical understand of English, my native tongue with that explanation. I had not made that connection before. I suppose the word "it" is simply used in many different situations. So it will take experience of encountering those situations and learning what is and is not correct each time in contect that will help me master "lo".
      Muchos gracias! Yo muchisimo quiero aprender mas espanol ahorita! Compro un libro sobre Puerto Rico porque quiro viajar ahi! Quizas este verano?
