It feels out of touch with your customers, and more importantly, out of touch with your salient sell points. See the raw energy ET5 is generating? NIO understands how to connect with the consumers. There’s a CNEVPOST on the ET5 excitement today. Be more personal. Be more forceful in promoting your strengths. Be more grounded instead of some abstract music with a fight scene. 要实在 If necessary, fire your marketing company. If your P7 gen-2 is to take on ET5, it’s not going to be just about being the superior car. Tesla Model 3 hasn’t been a superior car for some time but it still sells well. It’s about brand, marketing, and personality. XPeng’s leadership seems to be brilliant engineers, scientists, and managers, but they lack the personality of Elon or NIO’s Li. Either do better with your marketing. Or get a CMO who understands brand hype. Cheers.
@@_TrueDesire_ I live in Canada. Our govt and China aren’t on speaking terms after the Hwawei mess so I don’t have much hope any Chinese company wanting to do business here 😖 For example on the global expansion map Nio posted earlier, Canada is completely blanked out 😔
@@fabulousprofound Huawei is the only company Sweden won't do business with, which is also why our 5G network isn't expanding. We however have Xpeng and soon Nio along with BYD here 😁👍🏻
The car can actually be ordered in Europe now in 4 countries, where I have happen to live in one of them, the country where Dynaudio originated from, same country where B&O originates from btw. I'm very tempted to order the G9, but I'll wait until the car has been reviewed in Europe, in the final spec and trim, as I'm not sure if the cars will end up as fully loaded as promised. Pictures show a plastic cover where the two LIDAR's should have been. I hope it doesn't mean that LIDAR has been removed for my country, after all the XPeng homepage shows the car comes with XPILOT 2.5. Maybe they decided to follow Elon's advice of only relying on vision and maybe HD radar.
The two LIDAR units are needed for autopilot level 3.0 for the G9. Because full self steering (level 3.0) is still prohibited in the EU, the LIDAR units will (in first instance) not be delivered with the car. I myself am interested to know if the record setting floating point calculation capability of the G9 onboard computer (achieving 508 trillion operations per second TOPS or 4 times as much as the Mercedes EQS for example) will also be skipped in the first delivery round of the G9. If those processing power capabilities are not delivered in the first delivery round, it means that it will (probably) not be possible to upgrade the vehicle to autonomous driving to level 3.0.

Tesla cars are plastic (computer) appliances, not luxury automobiles. They wouldn't recognise a nice piece of Nappa leather if it slapped them in the face.

There's such a thing as European and National regulations that do or do not permit some ADAS functions and thereby make redundant LIDAR etc.
