Axis Bank has announced a major devaluation of its Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, effective from August 12, 2023. The cashback rate on flight and hotel bookings on Flipkart and Myntra will be reduced from 5% to 1.5%. The reward points earned on other transactions will also be reduced.

Only reasons i find to keep this card
1) I buy a lot of things on Flipkart..5% flat cashback.
2) 1.5% cashback on every other offline/Online spend ..
Recently i bought a phone worth 22K and i got 1050rs cashback .. annual charge vasool there itself ..
Also for every spend my family uses this card so i get 200-300 rs cashback every month ..

@@avinashgunti9585 so what? I closed 2 years old credit card and yes it dropped by 10 to 15 points and remained same but after 3 months it rose by 10 points and is now 778. Card closing will not affect majorly as compared to late payments and penalties.
It is best to surrender this card and is useless actually.

Another hidden point, if you add your Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card into your Flipkart Account, Flipkart automatically increases the product prices for you ... I have faced this first hand ...

HDFC also devalued its Diners privilege Card, earlier they used to offer 12 lounge access but now they are offering 2 per quarter, that too on conditions of spending 15k in previous quarter

I have confirmed from Axis Bank Customer Care that those who have got the card on Lifetime Free Basis no one will be charged for annual fees even if your annual transactions are below the threshold amount.

Yesterday i had conversations with axis customers executives, they told me my cc is lifetime free. There will be no annual charge applicable on my card.
Axis ACE ka btana... Uska bhi kuch Notification aaya tha mujhe kuch samay pahle but I couldn't compare because I was on the go. And I feel monthly CB drastically decrease hui gai uske baad. You may like it to make one for general public. Also, give suggestion for cards with best CB on overall spends.

As a frequent air traveler, i only want cards to access airport lounges. It get so convenient to eat if we are 2-3 are travelling., otherwise it would have costed a lot when with a child at the airport for 2-3 hrs.
Still it is one of the best cards for its 5%, 4% and 1.5% cashback..It is still useful for those like me who spend more on Flipkart and do offline spending...

These 'on call' offers cannot be trusted because call is not a valid evidence (even if you record it) of promise. So, even if they lied to you, you cannot do anything. They have every motivation to lie to you to stop you from giving up the card.
Still flipkart is good for offline spends i.e. 1.5% cashback if you get it lifetime free.
Its not just the card... Axis has gone crazy... pehle 1.5L k cash deposit k baad 5rs/1000 ka charge tha abhi 1L krdi limit. FD rates bhi may k baad ekdum se ghata diye ... don't know what to expect.
After BBD there will be a huge number in cancellation of flipkart axis card. Huge devaluation!

I use swiggy alot... Like almost 10k from swiggy orders every month... And flipkart also gives alot of offers on electronics so i am keeping this and amazon card too

RBI ko credit cards ko bhi monitor karna chahiye, q ki ye Bank stating me offer dekhake cards bech leta hai baad me devaluation kardeta hai, jaisa ke sare bank abhi kar rahe hai, best example SBI cashback credit cards and Axis Flipkart and ACE credit cards
No chance to close my Flipkart axis Bank credit card because every month I bought more than 50000 rs products from Flipkart.
Apart from all the mumbo jumbo, I purely care the cash back offered on flipkart so it's still Worth apart from the annual fee of 500+gst

I had already closed this card. But the bank doesn't process, so my civil score goes down. I suggest not to use this card. Axis Bank is a monster for civil scores.

My Flipkart axis is lifetime free card. & Even if it is not, credit card saves you at lot of places where no other thing works, like when we don't have cash but washing machine is failed at home..

Incidentally, I closed this card just 2 days before they bombed the devaluation notification. I have 14 years (and counting) relationship with axis bank . I had absolutely no problem with this card and had great personal experience. Axis bank never rewarded me for my loyalty that's why I never considered to continue. Why should I when they offered LTF flipkart credit cards to my colleagues at office who didn't have any relationship. Extreme disappointment. I urge the people to close this card enmasse.
It's fine bro. They are charging 500 but ultimately you can earn far more cashback in a year.
The same does not applies to any other card except Amazon pay.

4 airport lounge access in one more criteria to keep this. This card is available for people with lesser salary. I think only ICICI Coral is the only other entry level card.

Mere ko ye card Limit increase ke name par Axis walon ne chipkaya tha. Maine immediately close karwa diya. Agar SBI cashback card hai, to aise faltu cards ka no use.
