Until now CRED was the most popular platform for paying your Credit Card Bill. The reason for this popularity was that there was no formidable competition of CRED. But all of this changed couple of months back with the launch of CHEQ.

People wants two things. Convenience and reward. Cheque is much ahead in this. I don't like Cred now a days due to scam coins. Not interested in their shopping, games, bets, etc. I like your unbiased opinions on many topics. Keep it.

Cheq has started charging 0.2% as processing fee for making payments into the credit card. It may seem a small amount but it's actually Rs100 for every Rs50000 of payment.

Update: Cheq has a rolled out feature where you can remove the card now.
I think payment settlement time depends upon the bank and payment amount. For example I paid Rs. 30k bill for my SBI CARD through cheq which was settled instantly
Was just looking for a Cred alternative as recently Cred has made a cap in number of cash backs earned per month and after paying all my bills I don’t get cash back for some of them. Thanks for the information.

Cheq pe par corporate card add nhi hote...
You can delete your card from CRED but can't add the same card with another account.
*CRED is actually the same as Cheq in this field.*

It's better to use the bank's own app for payment of the credit card bill...you will have peace of mind, security and the most important thing is, no 3rd part data selling
I use paytm the settlement happens instantly

CheQ not supporting all the cards at now. Eg one/ federal bank card. So CRED is giving pretty reliable and hassle free experience.

Cheq has one more disadvantage you can't pay money in decimal numbers manually. Example like if your accurate credit bill is 5467.67, you can't pay 467.67 manually. And Cred has also one disadvantage if in your account you add your family of friends credit card by intentionally or unintentionally after removing this card you can't add this card in other account

Cheq has started charging for bill pauments, pretty gutsy for a yesterdays app. Plus horrible redemption options

Thanks for such video. Last time there was some sound issue but this time it’s nice. I was using CRED since Oct 2020 but I will also check cheQ sounds bit nice in paying CC bills in reward perspective.

Looks like cheq is good for rewards but the part where I hear I can’t delete my card sounds scary. Using cred for last 18 months or so. So I am very much sceptical about the security in cheq.
They announced that they will add this feature in their next update
Axis bank officially suggested their app so i don't think there should be any promotion in addition to that they have announced that this removing card features is coming

There is one more feature you haven't described, in cheq you can pay all your credit card bills together. Which is not possible on cred.

But idk what is wrong in people's way of thinking, first of all its only you who is spending through a credit card and then you want cashbacks or offers when you pay for the same. And after that you also want more cashbacks and more appealing offers. And still you will have a card which is already free of cost and not taking any extra charges to operate. If you are so desperate for offers and if you think you spend a lot on credit cards then you should simply take a premium credit card which takes an yearly fee , cards like these already give many offers which you can use and also they are high in terms of money. But my best advice tou you would be that nothing is free in this world so you should just say happy with 2 to 5 rupees cashback that cred gives rather than rooting for more cashbacks.
It's fake.. I am using cheq from 1 month I used to pay more than 10 times every time it's taken 10-20 sec.. on cheq.. not 10 hrs or 20 hrs

Great video. Keep it up. Please do one comparison video of Cred and Bajaj finserv UPI app, which offers more cashback and where they can be used. Bcz cred coins are waste.
max cheq chips is 4000 per mnth....and if we convert it in real cash...it will give less than 1% that means...max real cash that we can earn in cheq in less than 40 rupees....so it is ok to use cred rather than moving to any other platform

cheq is giving good rewards but app is really buggy. It shows duplicate credit card entries for me in card section.

Correction. In CRED by paying Rs 100000 also you will get Rs 3-5 cashback. Cred is useless nonsense app with most horrible reward and cashback offers.
One more disadvantage of cred is that we can't add or pay corporate credit card bills.

Seems like you have not used cheq... Cheq charges transaction fees which cred doesn't.
Also cheq has one shot payment option for all credit card at once... Test it thoroughly before making videos... Same observed in your free credit card video as well... Please take it positively and improve... Personal Finance is a critical topic and important part of education which is missing curriculum and people seek knowledge from influencer like you so it's your duties to study the website of bank and their latest offering... Your backend team should test the app completely... And video record date should always be announced at the start and end of each finance video as a thumb rule....

CRED is too bad in case payment got failed, it takes more than a day to refund a money and if it's last day of the due payment and any late payment fees is accumulated by that Card then CRED support team won't accept that concern saying you have to pay the bill 2-3 days before. This happens with me 2 times with Standard Charted card.

Do cheq get a loan account and other details by checking our credit score by hard enquiry?
I did my first payment with cheq it was good now they start charging processing fee 0.2% which is 2rs for 1k and give me 1% cash back with cheq coins which is again 10 -2rs return and they processing time is very late of cheq coins they are just blocking the money for sometime and earning interest cred is far better . I had uninstall it.

I have been using Cheq for a month
I have seen that the payment settlement is different in banks
for example
If I pay my Kotak and SBI CC Bill it takes only 1 min
whereas
If I pay my ICICI
it is taking more time to reflect and
till now the amount has not been reflected yet

I have paid over 4 lakhs via cheq.. did really get the 4000 rs.. but after they started that charging.. I stopped using.. you will get 0.05% if you calculate and you wanted rewards as cash.. like 100 rs for 4 lakhs

Privacy is more important. We can not remove or delete cards from cheq is really scary.
