My dad was Eagle Scout and IN ORDER OF THE ARROW. One of his proudest LIFETIME accomplishment's. "You have to be asked" to be in the order. He was a powerful and driven man.
Oklahoma must be known for getting bad kids to join the army, my dad grew up in Altus, back in the early 60s the state made him join or he was going to have to go to jail for getting into too many drunken brawls.

I painted earls house out in kapowsin .man earl told me some stories, my favorite was the shit truck driver 100 dollars and a goat.hes an extremely entertaining guy I got to hear the camp invasion story straight from earl.of course back then they were refusing his moh because they said he was too hardened of a soldier.kinda sucked that he had to get his medal from Brandon, though I guess they had a history since earl was part of Obamas security detail.Earl told me he could have held that valley in Afghanistan and nobody could have taken it from him,well I guess we saw what happened when they tried.well congrats earl you earned it.
