Cordless electric grease guns are godsend tools. The convenience is great and the speed inscrease is way faster than any form of manual greasing. Hopefully Makita releases an XGT grease gun sometime in the future since that's the new tool system that I went with.

I’ve been trying different brands of tools and I’ve been very happy with Dewalt. But I’ve bought some Craftsman power tools and have been pleasantly surprised. Thanks for your review.
P.s. Ryobi is pretty much garbage in my experience.

Do you have a Dewalt version, if so, how does it compare to the Craftsman?

How do you know when it's put enough grease in?

That depends on what you are greasing. The wheel bearings I greased had not been greased in 10 years, so I pushed a lot in there. The tractor will start spitting it out when it has enough. When using the grease gun you quickly get used to how much is coming out, just like you would with one that you hand pump.

I bought a little hand pump for the wheel bearings on my utility trailer, but gave up before any grease came out. Maybe I should use one of these.
