Love this band. Saw them live when this album came out.

These vocals seemed stronger than typical indie vocals, to me. Not loud or that sort of thing, but better, less lazy, etc. I get impatient with the enervated "I can't even be bothered to sing this" style in a significant portion of indie rock (although certainly not all of it). I liked this, but wasn't giving it, or your reaction, my full attention. Reminded me a bit of Company of Thieves at certain points.
