Whats even more enjoyable than the honda is seeing a frugal man at work with skills and knowledge.
Yes! Thank you for watching 👍

Good work
While I agree, I would add the caveat that it's easy to be frugal when you have a garage full of tools...
After I saw that civic type R restoration I've been doing a deep dive into your videos. Seeing that thing get brought back to life was fu**ing great. Great content! You do really good work, man.
Whoa! Same here!
i have just watched civic restoration too🤣
Me too same shit
@philly spitta81 Right? who leaves an EK9R rusting up in their lawn!?!? I was so happy to see him restore that car! I honestly would've helped him restore car free of charge. TBH I got a little emotional watching that build LoL 😆. And he was no slouch on this ACTY build either! I hope he kept both of these vehicles for himself, because he's the only one that deserves them.
@@amberwavesofoats me too for free also
... молодец пацан!-, с детства к технике и труду приучается, не сидит сутками уткнувшись в компьютер, а машинку отреставрировал отлично, пусть служит долго и надёжно!!!
Chit to name for you
I live in Japan so I see these wee trucks every day, but none of them are as stylish as that. excellent.
These little trucks are like ants of the car world, can do so much more than they look like they should be able to do. Great job.

You did a good job on a reasonable budget. It must have been satisfying to do the transformation, cleaning off the rust and painting everything.
Can't believe the number of dislikes you got though. Very strange! Obviously it was never intended to be a bare metal restoration.
Its just shoddy repairs , proper repairs would not take much more.
@@Alderonn10 its a work truck not a pavement princess show truck, repairs are different in the working world, heck could even be a weekend fun truck to use in the bush either way doing first class repairs would be pointless on something you plan on actually using and beating around in the bush
I've always wanted this mini truck.. I wish I know how to restore, but overall it looks great. Wish we can see some drive by and hills action.
I like the end result.... good choices. What a fun, unique toy, over here in the USA we have no idea how common these cars are elsewhere.
This really is MADD for a motor. Love to see junior directing you there!
Yep you need to have some help! 👍
Motor not under seat ,good.
Hello from Russia! Good job! I have a microbus Honda Acty 4wd. I bought it specifically for the construction of my house. Copes with the transportation of building materials perfectly. The patency is excellent!
No nonsense and no "hey whats up guys" sillyness and straight forward doing and aweness up to madness... like it.
I Love the Little Fellow is Helping out.. Glad You are Teaching the Young Chap some Skills. Future Mechanic !
I LOVE how you made this Honda Acty look mean. It looks incredible. I want one but 45hp for 1,760 Lbs is hard to imagine. I would need at LEAST 70hp for that weight
Had a 97 and it was like 35hp or something. You can boot around town no problem. You bang through the first 3 gears quick though.
That plain old Honda Acty has been transformed into a nice machine. I also note your choice of paint, which is very practical in rough environments!
good job my friend !!
it's a small utility, great for small jobs and transport of materials...
you gave it a second youth, Honda is a brand renowned for the reliability of its engines and the aesthetics of this vehicle is simply adorable...
Incredible transformation what a difference ! Great to see Irish talent and it’s not often you’d come across a pickup of that kind in ireland . I’d love to see a video of how to split , paint and re seal headlights . Maybe black housing headlights on this would be a good little touch to finish off the blacked out look
Thank you for the comment, I haven’t stripped down headlights before I have seen a few videos on here about it 👍
Thanks for revealing the country, I was searching everywhere to find out which country is our master mechanic resides!
I might get one for the lambing and have a beacon on top of it cuz why not😂
But if i can i would like to get it for 2-3k if i grt a garage to import it for me but erra idk where to start
Just got myself a used car and lots of things needs to be done with it then found this video. Kinda moves me great
THE BEST AWESOME AMAZING PERFECT WORK.....😁👌👍
I am Japanese. I was impressed to see you cherish old Japanese trucks
O melhor vídeo da categoria no youtube. Parabéns. Um abraço, Claudio Torres, BH, MG, Brasil
In japan, this type of a pick−up truck is very popular for farmers in the countryside! But you made it much cooler👍
I have the same one, mines blue its a honda vamos
لوحدك مرحبا بك في وقت لاحق على الله خير وبارك فيك شي انت بخير انا بخير دامك مرحبا
It's Honda Acty
@@aidandeasy7145 Nah he’s right it’s (probably) a 2007ish Honda Vamos, the Acty is similar but has a different front and cab design
Mines?
Gold, coal, silver, copper?
Lot of work now. Beautiful truck .. amazes people can restore old car and make them new again .. great job 👏
Wow man you deserve a big appreciation 👏👏
Thank you 🙌
The professor🏀 of cars right here.
And pick-ups...
Much nicer than it was. Great job overall. Personally I'm not sold on the bed liner paint job for the whole thing. While it could be (probably is) more durable than a more standard paint it definitely comes off as a 'quick and easy' type deal that reflects in the final product. Obviously sanding/priming the whole truck for a more standard paint job would be a tremendous amount more work. Other than that the front lenses look like they could brighten up a bit with a polish or maybe a lot clearer with a quick LED lamp conversion. Either way you brought a lot of life back into that little truck and it's great that you did.
The benefit to doing this to trail trucks is it makes touch-ups way simpler and allows it to be fully usable as a work truck. But I agree it looks worse
yes you done a fantastic job there but you can't take all the praise the little fella was a good help hope you paid him
what a grate team
beautiful truck, the best is the brand. you will get the parts wherever you want👏greetings from Argentina🙏🇦🇷
Wqw😂
It must have been so satisfying to see that you transform a run down vehicle into an absolutely gorgeous workhorse. All it needs are some smoked lights and weatherproof seats!
Perfect little off road quad 👍👍👍
It sure is! Thanks 👍
😆.
If you like motors this has to be one of the best channels by a stretch
Amazing job as usual! Your son is very well behaved, mine is a similar age and would have been trying to respray the truck and me 😁
He likes to help😂, thanks for watching 👍
These light trucks are big hit in many countries except the land of muscle cars and muscle trucks. Wonderful job and even wonderfully edited.
You're a legend! Great work and hope to see many more of these restoration projects on your channel
Its the cutest thing ever. I had no idea honda made a truck like that.
You’re awesome, this is what I wanna do when I’m older. I’d love to restore a classic. Thanks for making these! 👍👍
@Ian Taylor Is that a kei car/pickup? I think you're right that they don't sell them anymore
@Ian Taylor That’s interesting. They haven’t really made many changes since the first release of the Acty too. Just a simple workhorse that hopefully uses a similar reliable power train. I honestly thought the whole kei car had dyed down but there are still some newer ones like the S660.
@Ian Taylor Yeah I find it pretty cool too. I love the small kei cherry pickers, I just find them adorably bizarre. As you said would be a very useful thing to have for small companies (not sure about the costs of kei insurance and stuff but I would’ve thought it’s cheaper. I’m from the UK so we rarely see these). And yeah, Japanese makes have always been known for reliability, which makes certain buyers buy for that reason
I love seeing professionals like you at work!
Your videos are priceless, because you are showing how stunning results can be achieved without tonnes of money for a top end garage. Not mentioning your boys have a living treasure at home! I wish I had their memories and knowledge they'll have in the future :)
貴方は凄いでも あるがままに使いこなすも 自然な法則 必要な所に愛の息吹を…
Bro you are a huge motivation to work on my vehicles, thank you for these videos!
Great to hear that, thanks for watching 👍
its a very balanced work....not too flashy....not too non-noticeable.
Не знаю ни одного слова, но всё было понятно и здорово! 👍👍👍

You really gave it a perfect look. Thank you for your hardwork

Salute you are teacher and a very good mechanic.
Insane! What a difference. Well done dude 👏👏
Thanks man
After this, I think everything is possible! Thank you and good luck!
After the pressure wash alone, it looked a TON better!!!
You are ahead of your time. While most people bought bigger and bigger vehicles you went smaller and now the oil is so expensive you're cruising
Incredible restoration and transformation.
one of the cleanest kei trucks ive ever seen
ホンダ車は優秀よ🍀
idk why i love so much when i see car modified like this, the car look more brave
I absolutely love these! I have been trying to get my hands on a cheap Honda Acty for quite some time
Salom
Autotrader mate, there’s one in Colchester just under 5k.
The RAPTOR finish is perfect. Good base for a bug out vehicle being 4x4 too.
Love the build and hard work!
A single strip of lumber above the bed like an old 50's truck would be a good accent; IMO.
Who needs sleep when I can watch these videos all night
Excellent.
Now show us some mudding and crawling!
Wow.. badass! Great job.
Thanks for the video
Really Amazing Modification & Perfect Job..!💕
I Have Got Satisfaction After Watching This Video.. I Really Love This Truck! 😍
Enjoyed and inspired watchin you and your kid doin it together restorin these great cars. On a budget like me, helps me alot. Thank-You.
That’s a nice looking mini truck, you did a great job on it. No problem getting $7 or $8 grand for it now.
i think you guys did great work on restoring this but ive never liked vehicles of any kind bedlined. it never looks good after the first month. also not a huge fan of all black vehicles. you do you and im glad your happy with it.
Have you a backround in the auto industry.? Because you have a great way of explaining, can't belive you don't get more blown up then you are it's amazing content
I have a background in a lot of things! Thanks for the comments 👍
Kind of disappointed of not seeing any work with the engine. Besides that, awesome job.
I think I would just cover the bed with a River mat and not paint it.
Those little Kei trucks are so neat, I really wish they were street legal here in the US. Can see these being the universal mini-utility vehicles of the future, most likely as electrics.
Nice job. Can you make another video on this? Other mods, interior, accessories? Can you add up the total costs for the project?
Will do, Thanks for watching 👍
@@Mad4Motors_ please do dude! this is awesome
amazing looking little runner... love these tiny little trucks from Japan..fantastic looking pieces of machinery
Muito bom! Não foi uma restauração total, mas deixou o caminhão com boa aparência!!
Looks great!, dont forget to to add the bed liner not to wear out the back section.
Inspired! I want one! Would be awesome if you could put a list of the parts you used on the project and where to get them from.
Bloody Awesome 👍👍👍
Thanks again 👍
Love it great works mate! Was hoping to see some shots of it in action though!
Such an awesome little truck would be great to have if you have a big property
Your episodes are so amazing. It would be nice if could be longer like 30min oder 1h
Yes some prefer timelapse some more slow, I always like to try both
incredible workmanship.
I dig it, if I could get my hill giant body to fit in it I'd drive it...
All I can say is all three of my legs are too big for that thing😂
EVEN a baby helper aided the restoration.
So cute.
Thanks for those highly entertaining videos. They are really brightening my sunday afternoon. I am quite impressed with how your paintjobs tend to turn out. Most non-painterbooth paintjobs i have seen so far don´t look anywhere near that good. That heavy duty coating was a great choice for this thing imo!
It´s a shame a built like that would probably never be possible to be driven on the road here in Germany. The TÜV can be a pain in the butt when it comes to things like the bullbar, the lights that you added and the bigger wheels. But since i lack a few things to try my hand with a restoration like that (foremost a space to do it in and about all the skills beyond cleaning the basecar and pulling it apart.. 😉) I won´t have to find out if it´s possible to get one on the road legally.
Just two questions remain: How much does it cost you (roughly) to bring a car like this to the state it´s in at the end of the video? And why do all your builds have the steering wheels on the wrong side? (Just kidding ).
Thanks for all this qualitycontent, keep up the great work!
Good for fetching in the turf 👍
Now ya said it 👍
Минимум вложений, максимум мысли, красота!!!
Castellano..Hola La Verdad Hermosa Mini Honda Y La Verdad no entiendo porque Honda no exporta esta Pick Up A Argentina , saludos te quedo hermosa
Nice simple touches, that gave it a simple clean look.
Cracking job on that little Honda fair play to ye lad 👍

i really like it nice transformation question i wpuld find a way to put on a winch you might build a framework with a REESE (tm) .reciever with a back.winch to get you out of a jam
Excellent workmanship!
Your transformation of that little truck was really enjoyable to see, thank you for sharing your skills. Subscribed.

I'm half way through an investigation seen u not wearing safety glasses buddy save ur eyes ........ nice work that looks great

Thank you 👍
Old is gold
Didn't lifting the struts mess up your steering geometry? I had a hell of a time playing with the steering rack on my build after increasing the clearance.
