Playing Byron Jones at safety for his first 4 years was the all time dumbest move
Much better at corner.
Well, he wasn't played at safety for the first four years. First year he was a corner, second year he was interchanchable and by the 4th year he was solely a safety before they switched him back to cornerback.
What honestly could’ve been…..he showed his potential in 2016 just couldn’t stay healthy to save his life
That was really his only decent season, and he still got hurt. Just never lived up to the hype he had coming out of LSU.
I was excited when he came back in time for the playoffs, only for him to get completely scorched by A Rod.
The Fact You Got This To Be 5min Long Without Having His 2012 Draft Selection Included Amazes Me lol good film
Thanks 😂😂😂.
Facts lmao
Right I was thinking a 2min video, I mean this man was such a fucking bust omg. Each year I was like ok this the year for mo, nope he failed me Everytime each season
I thought he was gonna be all pro
Such potential wasted
I loved him to just got hurt alot and lost his step.
Never lived up to his potential, but he showed flashes. And like you said was pretty much always hurt as well.
Guys using that excuse "if he was hurt" sounds like bs. Sounds a lot like the line everyone uses on why they didn't do better. The reason he is a bust is because there wasn't anything special about his game, He did some good things but any 5 year pro can. Why should he get +15 mil year
I remember when he was drafted and we moved up. My brother and I were screaming at the TV. To bad he wasn't that good.
This should be another quick series. Lol. What. A. Bust.
Could've been 1 of the best if he could've stayed healthy. Either he was hurt during training camp or during the season. That mess with ur mind on every play, thinking about not getting hurt instead of just playing. The same with jaylon Smith
Wrong on both counts. Problem was his play when healthy. He wasn't special. Didn't really see any difference with him and Scandrick. I though Scandrick was a better cb. If he played like Diggs. Think everyone would put up with the injures. J Smith recovered as close to 100% as you can get with an ACL. But we use that as an excuse. Plenty of guys with talent and healthy that didn't. Jaylon never got hurt after his ACL. He looked Pro Bowl caliber in 2018?. Regress badly . But can't blame injuries on that.
Still one of my favorite cowboys dbs
video idea: lance dunbar or Joseph Randle cowboys nation☝🏿

This guy was amazingly athletic. He made such explosive plays.
For real? Looked average. Compare to college kids he is an athlete but the NFL is a league of athletes. Now Micah Parson is Amazingly athletic.
@@oneofspades man I liked clairborne.
He finally started looking like a CB1 in 16 and of course got hurt again
He just never lived up to the hype. I do agree though, that in 2016 he showed some flashes.
@@DC4L99 yeA, he was making a comeback
I thought he was finally coming into his own in 2016 until he got hurt smh
Got hurt just about every season.
Lol that is true
@@DC4L99 But if he played like Trevon Diggs, Injures and all, he would still be here. In the end, he was replaceable.
But if it was just inures, why is Tyron Smith still here.
@@oneofspades hahahahaha. Because playoffs
Did you do one on Roy Williams?
Yes. ruclips.net/video/qHNhrko5Zaw/видео.html
Morris Claiborne was basically a more injury riddled Chido. Except Chido wasn't a top 10 pick lol
Kinda, but Chido is better than Claiborne was though.
@@DC4L99 DANG. I think Claiborne was better . Awuzie looked bad sometimes in like 2018 Or rather that was because that entire 2018 d was worse than 2016 d? Because 2016 Claiborne I would take Over what I saw from awuzie, but I mean I remember wanting awuzie back a few times, before Dan Quinn showed up, but yeah I mean i thought awuzie was good or alright.
Jason Hatcher next? 👀
We could’ve had stephon Gilmore instead of him 😭
that hurts. Imagine our defense with him and byron
Yep 💯.
Morris Claiborne was ight he just nerver rellay had a good one on one with a reciver ust to get bet a lot but he was pretty good i guess i i think
I liked him. A shame that injuries got in the way.
Yeah injuries suck.
He wasn't that bad, the way Cowboys fans and media say he was. He just couldn't stay healthy, IMO. And fans and media already starting in on Kelvin Joseph and he has not even played yet. smh
Yeah but not bad isn’t worthy of the 6th overall pick though. People said he was gonna better than his teammate Patrick Peterson coming out of college.
He wasn’t terrible but he wasn’t very good either. I think the bust label is fair imo. WAY too soon to say that about Kelvin Joseph. Like you said, let the kid actually hit the field lol.
The number 24 has to be cursed, got me worried about Kelvin
Kelvin is the better athlete and far tougher. And younger. With far less tread on the tire.
Let's go Cowboys baby. Great video bro
Never lived up. Had a lot of potential always hurt. This is painful
Yeah he didn’t live up to his hype.
Although he was good. He wasn't worth moving up in the draft to get him. If Dallas stayed out, they could've gotten Dre Kirkpatrick, and he would have probably had a similar career as Claiborne did
Yeah he didn’t pan out, always hurt and even when he played he struggled.
You forgot the clip where he's sitting on the sidelines in his street clothes 🤣
What could have been if he could only stay healthy? I guess we'll never know.
Yeah injuries played a big part, I never thought he was that great though when he played.
Really liked him , had some good cornerback skills but once that bug got him he was done
He was hurt too much, but he had some moments. Just didn’t live up to his draft stock.
Thanks for making this🐐
Let's go!! I enjoyed watching him play!!
Yeah even big busts have some highlights 😂.
@@DC4L99 we traded up for his ass I'm pretty sure. Jerry thought he had nabbed Deion 2.0 or some shit
@@iangoodisDMX Yep 😂.
He was good the first two seasons injuries and he lost confidence in himself
Bust
He was 💯.
Was he drafted in 2012 or 2011?
First round 6th overall in 2012.
@@DC4L99 cowboys Could’ve had like kuechly or stephon Gilmore
@@DC4L99 Luke
What a bust, couldn't stay healthy...When he was on the field, especially that final year, he played well and that really was only half his potential. He had the length and the ability to track throws so well. Shame. Bust.
You should do greg Ellis next.
I’ve made one for him already. ruclips.net/video/TrsjOfm18ZY/видео.html
Oh sorry, I'm kinda new to your channel.
I wish that he lived up to that trade we made to move up and get him. He was so talented
Yeah that was a bad trade, I will say he had some good moments. Still wasn’t worth trading up to get him though. Could never stay healthy, and never came close to being an elite nfl corner like the experts said he would.
@@DC4L99 thats so true
Of all the former Cowboys players, Claiborne is one I will NOT miss! Man was he a major bust for Dallas. He showed flashes, but he never lived up to the hype.
Agreed, he was a bust. I got a lot of request’s for him though, so I thought why not 😂.
@@DC4L99 yeah, I hear you.
Imagine seeing him with the d we got now. Like less go get that money bag lmaooo go cowboys
This is my opinion but I think he will be the main reason that we won’t trade up for a corner he had so much promise but he never lived up to the selection at #6.
Maybe, but none of the corners that got drafted in the first round this year had the hype that Claiborne did.
@@DC4L99 yeah that’s true… I want them to be aggressive and get Stingley or Elam in next years draft
@@carlnobles12 I don’t think we will go corner early next year if Diggs and Joseph do well. I guess ya never know though.
Can u do a zeke one?
Already there. There is like 2.
I expected him to be like Patrick Peterson but he was injured way too much. Such a lost gamble on him to trade up for him. Shouldve used it on Gilmore
A lot said he was supposed to be better than Peterson, and man the experts were so wrong on that one 😂.
