    Playing Byron Jones at safety for his first 4 years was the all time dumbest move

      Well, he wasn't played at safety for the first four years. First year he was a corner, second year he was interchanchable and by the 4th year he was solely a safety before they switched him back to cornerback.

    Guys using that excuse "if he was hurt" sounds like bs. Sounds a lot like the line everyone uses on why they didn't do better. The reason he is a bust is because there wasn't anything special about his game, He did some good things but any 5 year pro can. Why should he get +15 mil year

    Could've been 1 of the best if he could've stayed healthy. Either he was hurt during training camp or during the season. That mess with ur mind on every play, thinking about not getting hurt instead of just playing. The same with jaylon Smith

    • @oneofspades
      @oneofspades 2 года назад

      Wrong on both counts. Problem was his play when healthy. He wasn't special. Didn't really see any difference with him and Scandrick. I though Scandrick was a better cb. If he played like Diggs. Think everyone would put up with the injures. J Smith recovered as close to 100% as you can get with an ACL. But we use that as an excuse. Plenty of guys with talent and healthy that didn't. Jaylon never got hurt after his ACL. He looked Pro Bowl caliber in 2018?. Regress badly . But can't blame injuries on that.
