i was once searching for a place like that. i think i found one in indonesia but not 100% sure. my gf's summer house is on an island in the middle of a huge lake on a peninsula. i think there might be a small lake on the island cause it's pretty big. edit: YES there's a lake too! lol. but it seems to be island free though. the larger lake is like 80km long and there seems to be hundreds if not even around a thousand of small islands across the lake (finland)
