So let me enlighten you with something. When you drive into burnouts, you tend to wear the tire down.So you have to get new tires. So this guy's been running his car a lot to achieve this time
@michaelakalman3621 so instead of getting the drag tires that already came standard for the car, he went aftermarket. Probably because he knew that there have been several instances where a Demon 170 on stock tires gets its ass handed to by the Model S Plaid and other supercars with slower 1/4 mile time.
@rudexbruiser2604 So let me ask you this when your tires are worn out completely you just continue to drive them even if they're flat no you don't you go and get new tires technically, there's no after market tire for any car because it's not scarce in every single car has aftermarket tires on it in the world and that's funny because where you're going with that is an average driver that doesn't know the car vs somebody like in this video that actually knows the car because he's ran it multiple times and pulling out an 8.81 quarter mile time also the 170 has been said is one of the if not the hardest car to launch so ur average joe is not gonna put down anywhere near what the car is capable of doing
@@michaelakalman3621 first off, what makes you think I'm an "Average Joe" and you aren't? You don't know the first thing about me. Shit for all you know I could own a Demon 170 meaning that I know exactly what I'm talking about when I said what I said. Secondly, who said the factory tires were worn? Who says the driver didn't switch the factory radials out for better, stickier ones made by a completely different brand than the ones offered by Dodge, That's what the term aftermarket means, an upgrade not originally offered by the original brand you. The Demon 170 Dodge had run a 8.91 had aftermarket tires.
@rudexbruiser2604 never said that and srry but changing ur tires is not considered an aftermarket thing it's the rims that r considered aftermarket and no it didn't they had the right temps and the carbon wheels hell racerx is putting down 9.2 with the heavier wheels and 70+ degrees and he e even says it's more than possible to get and 8.9 or faster with the carbon rims and cooler temps and u don't have to go to the dealership to get tires that r going to be the same as if u went bought them thro a tire shop only
IIRC, this car blew the stock engine, and it now has a stroker engine and a built transmission. The blower is also pullied down, I dont know why you would try to hide the fact that it's no longer stock. It's pretty sad when there are completely stock powertrain Demon 170's running 8.90 with just weight reduction.
@michaelakalman3621 DTP Racing built the car, and they show pictures of the engine bay. It clearly shows the blower pulley is not stock, they also verified it's a built 426 CI stroker engine. Nice try 😏
@pro5.019 But there's no videos or anything on it like you say there is because last I knew he wasn't the only person in the world to have a white demon170 so r u really sure its his no ur not which means that its more than likely stock
Ok the car in it's stock form wouldn't do those times. They have to prepare it put all those add ons to make it track worthy and only them and with the help of higher octane gas. So stock i don't think so.
Then you clearly don't know or have heard of this car before. It's the demon 170, the only car in the world that goes into the 8 seconds. Stalk incomes with drag radios from the second vehicle in the world do pop a Willie from the factory.
Crap that’s fast. Great launch. Awesome car.
That’s sick
Ron Silva and a few others have manage to do 8.9 and 8.8 sec flat it’s insane
Stock huh? I don't recall a STOCK Demon 170 having Hoosiers. Last I checked they were Mickey Thompsons

Bone stock?
Yessssirrrrr
That's amazing.
That's a stock wheel&tire setup?
Is it the gutted interior with just 1 seat?
Running on E or octane boosted?
It's not stock...atleast the rims and tires aren't.
Nice, but E.T. and top speed ??????????
Holt crapoli that thing.launched
We're are you Tesla fanboys now?

U can think that but that's completely stock yea it might be a new engine because the other one blew up but it's not built nor is the trans

Idk man I heard this one's stock, you might have the wrong car@@pro5.019
click bat not a stock demon, motor built and blower pulleys changed.
