I understand your disappointment. The problem was that the people who were actually writing and producing the show screwed it up by trying to merge the original source material with a lame police procedural. Obviously the main character Has to have a life and conflict beyond his use of NZT - the way Eddie did with his girlfriend and with Carl Van Loon. But the show made the mistake of focusing way too much on his family life and his FBI job [and the characters he interacted with in those areas of his life] and not enough on the personal experience of using the drug for Brian and how that brought him into Eddie’s world - to say nothing of the larger Eddie subplot with his rogue former associates, his Presidential bid, his larger plan, etc... It didn’t help that they had a lot of real hokey gags on the show either. I know it was meant to be played for laughs a bit more than the movie, but there’s a way they could have done that without it devolving into adolescent silliness. Brian is supposed to be late 20s pushing 30; the way they portray him is more consistent with a 19-year-old.

i still think the bad reviews for the movie and the series was that it hit too close to home when i comes to fixing the problems of the world. the story is trying to tell us: cant count cant read cant communicate.... cant be anything. if only you were really smart, it would all be easier.
So the black chick nurse is hearing everything said, why is she still a nurse? Don't you think all the secret is blown. If you were injecting NZT into people wouldn't you be competing with Bradley Cooper's character? So, two people on NZT would , essentially, be tied? Extending this out makes no sense. Cooper would likely want NOBODY to know about it, NZT, so he would have done it in a way where nobody else knows except for those whom he wanted to know. I doubt it's a nurse. This is where writers fall short of imagining well....that's why you shouldn't watch TV or Movies for plot only for character traits and ideas.
@@tapeab1e At the end of the movie he says he enhanced it and removed all the side effects. He doesn't even need to take the pills anymore, he is permanently enhanced.

And hoe no matter what he tried, or how he rationalised his situation, he still wanted to be a good guy who does right by others.
Even when the entire world and even himself on NZT said he needed to be stronger, tougher, colder.
But he remained himself and saved people, he remained to good person that he was.
That personal struggle is what i love about his character.
He changed his age.
Es genial la parte en que le dice "¿Alguna vez pensaste porque la gente tiene que envejecer?" Y su cara se cambia de apariencia por la de alguien viejo. ¿Alguien más lo noto?
Well, I might have to watch the show after all!
Anyone notice that when he said "ever think about why people have to age, he aged"
Ngl… what was disappointing is that the movie implied he didn’t need the pills anymore.
Disappointed that they didn’t keep the show alive. They should’ve went with Eddie Moore, eventually becoming the president and Brain , becoming a United States senator that would’ve been interesting.
i still think the bad reviews for the movie and the series was that it hit too close to home when i comes to fixing the problems of the world. the story is trying to tell us: cant count cant read cant communicate.... cant be anything. if only you were really smart, it would all be easier.
He probably pays for her silence. I’d take $3m a year to be silent and not touch a drug
@@007Fusiion honestly he probably just has a better NZT than the one he’s dispersing to people.
@@tapeab1e At the end of the movie he says he enhanced it and removed all the side effects. He doesn't even need to take the pills anymore, he is permanently enhanced.
The drug is already know about by the government and police did you watch the show?
honestly not surprised this show failed. they watered down Limitless to a crime procedural. what a waste.
God I wish this pill were real.🙃
The craziest thing is they never explore WHO makes NZT in either the show or movie iirc
Who was colder? Eddie or the Nurse?
This show not being picked up is what finally turned me off of sitcoms. Only TV I watch now is football games.
I didn't know this was a thing.
Only 2 years old 😭
This was a pretty good series; not as good as the movie, but a good spinoff
Take a hit, be somebody
2:06 really messed with me had to watch that part a second time lol
This series should've been sloooower. First episode was pretty fun, but then it suuucked
Wait wasn't he off the drugs at the end of the first movie
No, he was on it and said he was 50 steps ahead.
Yes, he was off NZT because he was able to make the effects permanent. Better not to take the show seriously anyway and not consider it a canon continuation of the movie.
Wonder what us the first thing i would do if i had the pill.First thing probably do whatever Mcguyver did
Great cameo role for Bradley cooper! 🙄
1:45
Where is de episode
I don't know they made a show
I feel like this show tried to play it off like it was smarter than it actually was
Shud up and start pumpin
Didn't they make a movie out of this show?
The show came after the movie
No. They make a show out of this movie.
The oposite
Trevor Mention yep I think you’re right.
I’m about to wooosh these peoples whole carrier
If you stack Amphetamine or Ethylamphetamine (Blue Speed) with CBD and 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (tropoflavin), you can have Amphetamine/Ethylamphetamine every day if you want to. Modafinil is safer anyway. Modafinil is stronger than coffee and energy drinks, safer than coffee and energy drinks, and is cooler.
*leans in* can you remember what its like being inside your mothers womb? *i can* XD im dead
🤯🤯🤯
It should have been just Cooper doesn’t president stuff.
What episode it this?
first
I'd like to think this show was just too smart, and that is why it was canceled.
1:53 comes across as creepy
They made this show a typical cop show...that was the mistake. It somehow felt unique but generic at the exact same time.
I just realized, they changed his side of the story, right? Cause by the end of the movie, he’s off of it
That’s what he said to his enemy , no way of knowing if it was true
1:53 ok but why did they animate baby Eddie's mouth to move
Film is cool, serial unlike. Love NZT48)
This show was so stupid. The writers had no idea what to do with a character that is supposed to be the smartest person on the planet, so they just made him a goofy idiot instead. Half the scenes it feels like he's just a random guy with no special abilities...
I think Trump took a note from this series:-)
kid this shows u dont take drugs unless it give u 2 million iq
Martin Elizabeth Allen Joseph Thompson Steven
the movie was great but I didn't really enjoy the show
sorry for making it 101 comments
Eddie contct me for some nzt lets make a deal
This is how Hollywood writers think smart people think. Lol
This show was corny. At least it’s not canon
:/
This was bullshit because At the end of the movie Edward was off nzt. He found a way to make the effects permanent for himself
The theory goes that he lied to Brian. To manipulate him into believing he needed him. In the show we never see him taking nzt in any form
There is no proof he was off it in the movie , that’s just what he said
V5
This scene ruins the end of the film
The Blue Morpho yes of course but the ending had Eddie not needing nzt cos his brain had changed and his synapses had learned how to think like nzt so this scene with him saying yeh I’m still on it made that less impactful
@@telegraphicfilms9908 it's most likely a bluff dude, Morra would want to have the power position so he would just lie or not mention the details of NZT, how it works, how to take advantage of its delivery method
Telegraphic Films
I get it now, his brain adapted or evolved
@@telegraphicfilms9908 In this series at some point the main character gets off NZT, but then starts experiencing short bursts of NZT like effects without the bills, implying that with prolonged usage the brain does change permanently.
I think the senator does not take a bill daily, but instead he’s just promoting that he is to everyone around him because he doesn’t trust them, with good reason after seeing what they do in the later parts of the show.
