Cool. I wrecked my 12-speed Peugot bicycle at the roundabout (0:51) in 1990, and I remember Dr. Pham (Vietnamese/American Lt Col doctor at clinic), pushed on my shoulder (hurting it a BIT), and then telling me "not broken", giving me a prescription for 800mg motrin, and sending me back to work. Took it 4 months to heal. Also, (unrelated) I used to hold Friday office call/safety briefings for the CE Squadron's "Drafting" section at Stradella's back in '91. Il mio paese preferito! Thanks/Grazie! Somehow, I still speak passable Italian today, even though I've spent only 2 weeks in Italy since I PCSed in '92. Memories flood back of great times on a small budget. Excellent work, excellent friends, food, and pretty much one of my best assignments in a 24-year career. Wish I were in my early 20s again (don't we all?)
Wow barely recognizable to me after 34 years, the place at the roundabout do you know how long that has been there. My favorite was a place called the Jolly Bar on the way to the flight line and there was an awesome place in Pordenone where we ate Gelato they had a huge bowl called the volcano enough to serve 4-5 of us.I'll be there in about 3 years give me a list of places to eat and hotels to stay at in the area if you don't mind I would truly appreciate it.Thanks for the videos
