Great piece of music . We played this as part of our program at the Milton Keynes band comp in 2010 . One of the adjudicators was a certain Mr Goff Richards who wrote in his comments how much he enjoyed listening to the piece . He came over at the end of play and chatted with us for a while , he was totally absorbing , gave us some tips and yes, his ideas on how to improve our overall sound . A truly marvellous man with still so much to give the brass band world , very , very sad to have lost such a great talent .........we came 2nd by the way .
interesting set up that has the tenor horns and flugel horn sat along the right hand of the conductor with Baritones and Euphoniums in the centre and also having the Soprano cornet sat on the front row.

Fantastic. This should have more views.
Excellent. Surely this will feature in Dom's selections when he appears on 'Desert Island Discs'?
Those were my halls of residence! Hulme Hall was a great place
Brilliant playing! 👏👏👏
A thrilling march taken on with great courage at a breathtaking pace! Does anyone know more about this TV programme?
TONIGHT,
I give an academic talk about summer,
The Dobcross Band isn't quite sure where it is,
And Sergei Prokofiev meets Procol Harum.
Lovely piece
How good is this song
Dominic Cummings' "favourite" tune
