    What a story! From digital to analog...
    In February we taped an interview with Catherine Rénier. It was Catherine's very first interview being the new CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. During the interview Catherine invited our viewers to come to Le Sentier to visit the manufacture in the Vallée de Joux in the Swiss Jura.
    So exactly one month ago eleven WatchAdvisor subscribers, coming from Austria, Denmark, England, France, Sweden and Switzerland, came together - literally went from digital to analog - to experience a one of a kind visit to the manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre lasting one entire day.
    The absolute highlight was when Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Catherine Rénier joined us in the afternoon for a warm-hearted, extensive exchange.
    Curious to discover what you missed?
    I invite you to watch and enjoy the video and be sure to come next time when we will visit another manufacture in Switzerland and/or Germany ...

      @WatchAdvisor  4 года назад +2

      Amintas Neto Jaeger-LeCoultre needs to communicate more what the manufacture and its engineers, technicians and watchmakers are able to do... The brand could position itself substantially different to many others... no fancy marketing but facts, facts and facts and substance... They started doing this a while, but not loud enough, therefore they should push much more...

    Ich glaube, der Alexander Linz hat einfach einen Riesenvorteil in Vergleich zu den anderen 'watch-gurus' auf RUclips: Er verfügt offensichtlich über spezielle Kontakte zu den CEOs der besten und exklusivsten Uhrmacher in der Schweiz und Deutschland (etwa wie diese wunderbare Frau, Catherine Rénier) und kann deshalb solche 'factory-visits' bei JLC ohne die geringsten Schwierigkeiten organisieren.
    Sicherlich bekommt er dabei auch 'insider-information'? Ich könnte mir vorstellen, er weiß bereits ziemlich genau, was auf der Uhrenmesse Baselworld 2020 von Rolex, Patek usw. vorgestellt wird ;-)

    • @WatchAdvisor
      @WatchAdvisor  4 года назад +1

      DANKE! Das sind sehr nette Worte! Es ist de facto so, das ich nach meinen bis dato 25 Jahren in der Uhrenindustrie sehr, sehr viele Leute sehr gut kenne ... Das hilft natürlich das eine oder andere Projekt in die Tat umzusetzen. Gleichzeitig steht man aber auch ständig unter Beobachtung und ist dadurch mitunter sehr kritischen Blicken ausgesetzt. Was die Neuheiten betrifft kann ich bestätigen, dass ich bereits da und dort weit in die Zukunft geblickt habe. Genießt man das Vertrauen der Branche, und das tue ich nun einmal, so sieht man in der Tat die Neuheiten schon deutlich früher. Offiziell weiß ich natürlich von gar nichts...
