I used to sit and watch the DVD of this gig with my best mate of many years who's no longer with us.
I no longer have the DVD but I like to watch this video occasionally to remember him and those mad days we had. Even just listening to the albums still brings me to tears most times.
Miss you Jason, wish I could hear you rip the fuck out of this crazy world nowadays. You'll always be with me, especially when I have a jam to myself the way we used to Ocean Colour Scene and Joy Division records. I'll never let this world forget what it's missing without you. Never stop raving up there in the sky pal.
RIP Jason. It'll be 4 years this June, and you best believe I'll be back to listen to this when your day you caught the train comes, and no doubt a few times before it comes.
@Stephen Lindsay My Dad had it since before I was born so I'm not really sure tbh. I've looked for one myself but can't find it anywhere unfortunately.

I was there :) 1st ever gig, 3 best mates and me, 15 years old, mind blowing. One of the best nights of my life. I'm now the age my good old dad was when he bought us the tickets at Ripping Records in Edinburgh and then drove us all to this gig and picked us up afterwards. My dad is an absolute legend, as are OCS.

Yes fantastic band, very underrated. I dont understand it really. They were definitely on par with Oasis and Blur if not even greater. I think that they had less charisma off stage and thats why they didn't get as much attention

Absolutely love this gig, I was there, front center. Was even more surprised when i bought the official programme opened it up and seen my self and mate across the pages at a gig the previous year at the SECC. those were the days 'Mon the Scene
Saw these at an outdoor festival in middlesbrough, atmosphere was electric, the whole crowd was bouncing
I was there! Fooking amazing lads!!! 15 gigs in total I’ve seen. Last one was in Dubai. Dragged my old dears and my Indian wife along. They loved it!
I was one of the STV camera crew that filmed this. One of my earliest jobs as a rookie in the business. I've filmed OCS several times since then. This summer I'll be in charge of crews filming Pulp, Sam Fender and the 1975, to name but some. 😎

I grew up listening to OCS every day for years. One of the true music constants in my life amongst many others. But there music is timeless and watching them live as I have twice, just makes you realise how mazing talented and underrated they were and are.

Was there that night....was supposed to go on the Friday originally, but swapped my tickets for the Sunday. Amazing gig.....The Supernaturals were good too (Everest was epic).

That guy is like the best singer ever. The guitar player plays like a pro and looks like a kid. They all look like their moms dressed them. I guess they WERE kids! What a great band, what a great show, and what a finale. Must have been so exciting to be at that show! So talented, all of em. I was lucky enough (as an American) to discover them when I went to school in northern England in 2000, along with all the other UK bands of the time like Supergrass, Starsailor, what a time in my life that was, and the soundtrack to those times will stay with me forever

This was the end sadly no idea what happened after the release of OFTM in 1999 but it went so downhill. They actually played in the Car Park, they did these gigs because the Phoenix Festival was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
