Preciate the kind words, it was always a good time whenever we had the chance to hunt, fish or just sit around shoot the breeze! Great memories for sure!
It’s very sad that the area we live is toxic. The wildlife and fisheries department posted a warning against eating any of our area fish because of high mercury levels and other problems. So many of our waterways have been ruined because of industrial and agricultural pollution. Makes me wonder how long it will be before the sport of fishing is a thing of the past. When I was a young boy, our family relied on fish and wild game for food. You couldn’t pay me to eat any fish caught locally now. I can remember creeks and streams that were safe to drink from. Those days are long past and I honestly don’t think clean waterways will ever return. I’m not an environmental nut job or tree hugger but it’s plain to see that mankind has destroyed much of our planet. Even if serious clean up measures were to be put in place it would take many generations to put a dent into the damage we as people have caused in such a short time.
Thanks for sharing your story an I would agree that alot of waterways are highly polluted, Not just in any particular state alot of different states and it is sad for sure. Thanks for watching I do appreciate it!
