i enjoyed your pet videos but i stopped watching them as i felt that seeing all those bad pet tik toks was effecting me mentally. seeing innocent animals being abused like that was quite distressing, especially knowing that most of those people have gotten away with hurting them and are still out there. im still gonna be subbed as i love toy collection videos and dolls, im excited to see your new videos.

Ah! I wondered why I hadn't seen one of your videos in a while! So your pet videos are why I'm here. I got cockatiels last year for the first time since I was a teen and you were one of a few channels I watched to make sure I was gonna do right by them. Then moving forward you started doing the tiktok videos and you educated me a LOT on fish care and frankly... kids youtube. Thanks to you I did a purge on my kids youtube content. Everytime you mentioned a bad pet channel I'd go find it and block it for my son. If my son comes across something similar I block it and I explain why he can't watch those videos anymore. Why what is being done is bad for the animals. You've helped me in a lot of ways and I thank you for that. I'm not into the doll stuff. I probably won't watch it. I'm gonna stay subscribed though for whatever pet videos you make on occasion though and to watch your old videos. But you should absolutely make the content you wanna make and enjoy making. You're an awesome person who makes awesome content no matter what is.

We grow up more mature and might want to try and invest in our new interest so I respect your decision in changing your contents multiple times. Maybe part of it is because I look up to you 'cause you're only 1 year older than me and even share the same birthday! I know it sounds crazy that a person who is only a year younger than you looks up to you so much but the reason is you kinda motivates me to be more responsible like you (My life is a mess lol) . i totally get it. i made exactly 1 video on rehabbing a canary years ago at this point and i still get comments asking me to be a vet for their birds. i do this as a day job as well so the idea of doing it 24/7, no pay, is exhausting. i'm already exhausted doing it as a day job lol. i think animals are just one of those topics that people are extremely emotionally tied up in, unfortunately. low pressure videos about low pressure hobbies seems to be the only way to create a more easy-going community. i've been participating in more easygoing hobbies like plants and asmr and baking lately and it's been really nice. i hope not only the channel flourishes, but i hope you flourish as well !! edit: i also own a lot of birds and have thought about making content on them- and honestly could not think of anything interesting to put online 😂 i have an instagram that is basically just a curation of photos i like. i post MAYBE once every 2 months. i think part of the issue is that when you live with your pets for so long, you no longer find them an 'interesting' thing lol. hard to be passionate about creating content that you don't find interesting
Being an animal lover and activist can be very hard work, emotionally exhausting, soul crushing, and heartbreaking. I can understand that watching the endless scroll of people abusing pets on TikTok can get to be too much. I think most of us are here for you, no matter your content.

I love collecting dolls myself ( lalaloopsie dolls too be precise) so im so glad a creator i already like and has good values is featuring this content. you have probably seen dollightful you should get some less loved dolls and try and do them up i gave it a try by sewing new clothes honestly was quite fun even if it didnt turn out super great lol.

I understand when you run out of video ideas trust me I really do so I have some fish themed videos ideas you can do! 1: make a list of the best plants for aquariums, this would be really helpful for future/wannabe aquascapers like me! 2: make a list of infections and diseses fish can get and talk about how to treat them, this would be a very very VERY helpful video for just about all fish owner as sadly our fishy friends do get sick at some point in there lil lives :( 3: buy some ami ami toys and review them! Ami amis are very cute tiny lil crochet toys and I would be very happy if you reviewed them :D 4: BETA FISH BREED TIERLISTTTTTTT. 5: bring, back, animal, jam, game, play, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT START OVER AND SEE HOW YOU LIKE THE GAME! :DD that's some of the ideas I remember LMAO hope these help as I want your channel to thrive and do well :D also goodluck reaching 600k!
you know lot tv shows have only x amount shelf life cause theres only so much information can be shared or too repetitive- orsomething so shows end- and i can see there only so much available information on any animal- so videos kind over lap in same topic or content- and comes a time to change- but good to see you-but u could do dangerious toys for kids under 4 or something idk?
i had a red ear and i let it free rome sometimes in my bed room and she would crawl up my beding into my bed and hide under my pillow- and cold mornings crawl up feel her climb over my feet so funny- she was something- i had her for years then got infection so sad- but she was teriffic i do miss her-

I am really upset about this as thats the main thing I loved on your channel. I do watch some of the other content, but I really liked the tiktok videos and animal care videos. I've learned a lot from your channel. But, do whats best for you. I'll stick with watching the old videos over and over again, as I find myself doing. I made a safe little playlist for myself (due to ptsd to s*xual content and certain words) and I generally rewatch videos a lot.
I don’t mind the switch at all, and honestly I welcome it. Toy and game content is what I love to watch. Consuming too much negative content, the animal abuse-even tho you’re obviously speaking against it-isn’t too healthy for me, mentally. Also any time a video features an american, the comments and everything just turns into America-bashing, which I’m so over.
I remember being frustrated because you never made it clear which aquatic animals you had to rehomed. We never got a clear answer what animals were gone. I remember being pretty harsh on and even though i do srand by the things , i shouldnt have have been so harsh on you. Im.sorrry

Also I do think that reviewing the "bad pet tiktoks" is really just giving them attention and engagement and giving them views. Best to just avoid them like the plague and not let the algorithm boost them and let them reach even more impressionable kids.
Agree. That's why I stopped watching a while ago. It was making me uncomfortable. Some videos raise awareness. A lot inadvertently feed them the attention they want. So not making them any longer is a good thing
Can make the awareness videos without revealing the names or channels of the offending incidents. Just to be like "this is not cute, stop making this a trend, do not do this. If you see these, flag and report them, block them. Don't give them engagement" But mental wellness is important, and no one should feel pressured to only discuss and be the spokesperson for that kind of content.
I actually resubbed to you because of the toy videos! I'm not much into pet/animal lifestyle content, but I found you reviewing and talking about toys again quite nostalgic because I grew up with your MLP videos. I'm also huge into dolls and toys and children's/family media myself, despite not collecting them, so this really appeals to me. Frankly I love the new direction yer heading, but that's just my thoughts. ^^

I know I’m late but I had to rehome my Green Cheek Conure a few years ago. I started college and didn’t have time for him so he would scream a lot. I rehomed him to a family friend who wanted a more interactive bird and he has done great. I got a cockatiel a few months after and now have 2 again. I have found cockatiels are not only adorable but their needs are something I can accommodate with my lifestyle. Sometimes you discover things about yourself and situation that help determine the right pet for you. I still cried the day I rehomed him but it was for the better for the both of us.
You're an amazing person. The way you explained yourself was the exact way i would. Most RUclipsrs can't find the line between pleasing others vs ourselves. We are here for you! i totally get it. i made exactly 1 video on rehabbing a canary years ago at this point and i still get comments asking me to be a vet for their birds. i do this as a day job as well so the idea of doing it 24/7, no pay, is exhausting. i'm already exhausted doing it as a day job lol. i think animals are just one of those topics that people are extremely emotionally tied up in, unfortunately.
low pressure videos about low pressure hobbies seems to be the only way to create a more easy-going community. i've been participating in more easygoing hobbies like plants and asmr and baking lately and it's been really nice. i hope not only the channel flourishes, but i hope you flourish as well !!
edit: i also own a lot of birds and have thought about making content on them- and honestly could not think of anything interesting to put online 😂 i have an instagram that is basically just a curation of photos i like. i post MAYBE once every 2 months. i think part of the issue is that when you live with your pets for so long, you no longer find them an 'interesting' thing lol. hard to be passionate about creating content that you don't find interesting
honestly it doesn't really matter exactly what you post, you always find a way to make it engaging :)
Being an animal lover and activist can be very hard work, emotionally exhausting, soul crushing, and heartbreaking. I can understand that watching the endless scroll of people abusing pets on TikTok can get to be too much.
I think most of us are here for you, no matter your content.
But we need to be aware of these issues instead of just covering them up because it’s easier to live unaware
One of the reasons I gave up as it takes a long to to do stuff for the video and then to keep coming up with new stuff 2-3 times a week, not easy.

I love collecting dolls myself ( lalaloopsie dolls too be precise) so im so glad a creator i already like and has good values is featuring this content. you have probably seen dollightful you should get some less loved dolls and try and do them up i gave it a try by sewing new clothes honestly was quite fun even if it didnt turn out super great lol.

I'm a bit too old for toys and dolls, so i don't think i'll be watching your videos all that much anymore. you know lot tv shows have only x amount shelf life cause theres only so much information can be shared or too repetitive- orsomething so shows end- and i can see there only so much available information on any animal- so videos kind over lap in same topic or content- and comes a time to change- but good to see you-but u could do dangerious toys for kids under 4 or something idk?

I'll stick with watching the old videos over and over again, as I find myself doing. I made a safe little playlist for myself (due to ptsd to s*xual content and certain words) and I generally rewatch videos a lot.

I don’t mind the switch at all, and honestly I welcome it. Toy and game content is what I love to watch. Consuming too much negative content, the animal abuse-even tho you’re obviously speaking against it-isn’t too healthy for me, mentally. Also any time a video features an american, the comments and everything just turns into America-bashing, which I’m so over.

Agree. That's why I stopped watching a while ago. It was making me uncomfortable. Some videos raise awareness. A lot inadvertently feed them the attention they want. So not making them any longer is a good thing
Can make the awareness videos without revealing the names or channels of the offending incidents. Just to be like "this is not cute, stop making this a trend, do not do this. If you see these, flag and report them, block them. Don't give them engagement"
But mental wellness is important, and no one should feel pressured to only discuss and be the spokesperson for that kind of content.

I actually resubbed to you because of the toy videos! I'm not much into pet/animal lifestyle content, but I found you reviewing and talking about toys again quite nostalgic because I grew up with your MLP videos. I'm also huge into dolls and toys and children's/family media myself, despite not collecting them, so this really appeals to me. Frankly I love the new direction yer heading, but that's just my thoughts. ^^

I know I’m late but I had to rehome my Green Cheek Conure a few years ago. I started college and didn’t have time for him so he would scream a lot. I rehomed him to a family friend who wanted a more interactive bird and he has done great. I got a cockatiel a few months after and now have 2 again. I have found cockatiels are not only adorable but their needs are something I can accommodate with my lifestyle. Sometimes you discover things about yourself and situation that help determine the right pet for you. I still cried the day I rehomed him but it was for the better for the both of us.

I really enjoyed your animal videos, especially the tiktok ones (watched them all), I can’t say I’ll be as interested in all of your new content but I liked watching the Bluey video and the MLP infection video so would be cool to see more videos like that. Im not into the doll stuff at all tbh but I wish you luck on those videos I just hope there’s still the occasional pet video if you ever feel like making one again as no other pet channels I’ve found are as enjoyable to watch
