Glad you enjoyed the video bud. Since I recorded this, he's fitted it with a supercharger so I have to get my hands on it again. Your Civic must be spinning wheels all day! It's got to be a blast. Marcio also has a '04 Civic all built up, I'm gonna try to get my hands on that too once he's all finished with it. Enjoy your monster in the meantime.
Bro that was so much fun to watch! What a gorgeous car and damn it seemed like you were scared, but in a good way. Lol I hope it was just as much fun driving the car as me watching you. Hope to see more of this baby and actually see how fast you really go with the speedometer working. As always brother, keep it safe and God Bless. Hope the weekend treats you well my friend. If you ever get a chance, see if you can find someone with a late 80’s to early 90’s Mercedes 300E (86-89) or E320 (94-95). That would be a good video to watch too😀. Have fun drivin’ brother! When will we see your Subaru reviewed? What did you do to the ol’ gal to make her get up and go?
Thanks as always buddy! He really did a great job on it and you're correct, it scared me half to death since I was not ready for it. It was fun in the end but my nerves were on end for the beginning of it. I'm going to do a follow up once he gets the turbo in and the tune done. One of those Merc's does sound like it would be fun to drive, especially some of the earlier ones. I was trying to find a early 2000's SL since I really dig those designs. As for the Subaru, I spun a bearing so I'm getting the entire engine overhauled. Gieco's breakdown insurance is actually covering close to 6k of the overall work so I figured I'd go all in. Once I get it back, you'll see it for sure. The next car up is a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth which was way more fun to drive than I anticipated. I always appreciate your feedback and thank you so much for the continued support.
@@urgottryndamere6244 Lol yeah well the stock is better that a piece of crap NRG wheel. Those things are just garbage. Even there hubs aren't that great either. Only reason to go NRG is for the short hub cuz it's cheaper in price and it works ok from what I've seen. But their steering wheels are COMPLETE garbage. You can actually bend it like an inch if you push/pull on it when it's mounted. Not to mention the materials they use are really cheap. The stitching looks like a 5 year old with cerebral palsy did it. Just spend the extra couple hundred and you will be much happier with it. Oh and then you can brag about how jdm you are for having a steering wheel that costs some people rent for the month lol.
@@AnonX-jk3zu hey man you're preaching to the choir lol. I never said anything about NRG being good. More so pointing out that the owner came to his senses and got rid of it.
@fords& Hondas lol ok thats good bro have fun with ur nrg wheel. I personally will go with momo or spoon or mugen. But hey thats just me. If you like ur nrg wheel thats cool. Iv had an nrg wheel and it was ok but it just felt a little cheap and flimsy.
Huh....the fact that it's a 4-door caught be way off guard. I'm genuinely curious why he didn't opt for the 2-door. Also, screw Scotty, but at least he pointed me to you, and you make great content! Looking forward to more.
It's funny you say that, it took me by surprise too but didn't think it looked bad at all. I'm seeing him tomorrow, I'll try to get some answers to the questions people posted. I'm happy you like my videos though buddy! Scotty is an acquired taste but as far as content, he's informative which I like and he's helped me a lot so I can't hate on him. Expect more on my end soon!
@@Altek1 Sweet, thanks for the response, no doubt it's a beautiful car. There's just something about a properly modified 4-door sports car that makes me admire the owner for sticking with it and not going with what most people use - the coupe version. Scotty is an interesting guy, no doubt his videos are very informational from what i've seen and I give him credit for posting your video and allowing me to find your channel. But he's very opinionated and not always correct. (This opinion coming from an avid Tavarish fan as well....for whatever it's worth)
No problem, I encourage feedback and interaction, it makes this whole RUclips thing more enjoyable. I really thought you were going the other way on his choice of 4 door. I agree, definitely uncommon and gives it a better look in my opinion. Scotty cracks me up. He's always looking for the most inexpensive way out of things when sometimes I even say, c'mon Scotty! He recharges what is essentially a bad battery so he can take his truck out every now and then, hilarious. Just buy a battery. I don't always agree with his assessments, he said the Impala was junk and couldn't last but my friend has one with close to 300k. He's drawing from his experiences which I respect but you're right, he's not always correct. I was unfamiliar with Tavarish, I think I came across him once before. The exact opposite of Scotty as far as what he's willing to spend, haha. You're awesome buddy.
@@Altek1 The combination of your great personality, good simple car "reviews" and the small size of your channel and willingness to talk to average people in the comments really puts this channel aside to me, as one to continue to watch and keep up with. I haven't genuinely talked to and had good feedback on my comments on videos in a long time, if ever, and I appreciate the interaction as well. Your first video I watched was the 2nd gen Integra review and it really stuck out as capturing the classic essence of what the 2nd gen Integra was, not what hotboys try to make it into in 2018. It's very hard to find good driver focused, honest content on a tastefully modified or stock 2nd gen Integra because everyone else's has the classic fartcan exhaust. As someone looking for a 2nd gen Integra as a first car, the video super duper helped and makes me want one even more.
Ha, funny you say that, he said pretty much the same thing when I asked him about it. The stretched tires give the handling a slight uncertainty at times. He'll be swapping them out when he has the chance but I think it looks good visually at least.
_Very_ nice build by your friend. The colour really works. The engine bay is gorgeous and the RHD swap can't have been easy. I see he went for the five stud conversion too. And fair play getting used to driving on the _proper_ side of the car. 😉😀 Joking aside you seemed to pick it up pretty quickly. Coming from the other direction I find driving left hand drive cars difficult enough and given I'm right handed you'd think it would be easier. In fairness I'm generally about as coordinated as a drunk octopus, with a nervous twitch. So there's that.
Haha, this comment gave me a genuinely good laugh. He really did do a great job, I'm happy people get to see and admire his work. Once I saw it, I knew I'd be comfortable with him working on my cars. Since the roads are reversed too, isn't it all the same! :D It was a bit disorienting when I first started off but I adapted quickly. Highway passing was not easy though, when ya can't see something, ya just can't see it. I had to give a lot of room in front to have a good vantage point to pass. You're hilarious, drunk octopus. Reminds me of my brother, my father would call him the human pretzel whenever he tried to make a turn.
Thanks a lot Nick! Marcio is actually building a Civic that's as balls off the wall as this. I'll be featuring it once it's all done. Thanks for the sub!
This is almost the dream all it needs now is mia from the fast and the furious 💯 if mia and her integra were real this is the car she took Brian for a ride in 💯💙😎🥇✌️ the best integra ive seen yet and again its a dream
Awesome that you love it bro! He got a supercharger put on recently, going to see if I do a follow up video since I'm very curious as to how it drives now.
Four doors is growing on me. I've told myself that I will only buy coupes. Just a few modifications can make 4 doors look cool. My next car will probably be a 4-door Civic or Integra. Maybe an Accord. Something Japanese 90s.
It's funny, I saw the car a few times and was convinced it was a coupe when I went to do the video. The 4 doors don't detract from the "coolness" of this car in any way in my opinion. Good luck on your 90's Japanese car hunting, I'd keep my eye on japaneseclassics.com, that's where I want grab my next one from.
I don't know why this guy didn't just buy a real JDM Acura Integra if he really wanted one that badly. There are car importers that you can pay to help you bring one here legally and I'm sure it would have been cheaper and much less time-consuming to do that not to mention it would be a real JDM car which would be a better car as well since Honda only sold their best versions of their cars in Japan only. He could have still modified it to his liking and saved himself the unnecessary trouble of having to do any home welding that most people might be concerned with. He would have definitely saved lots of money and got the real thing. I would have spent the money he could have saved on buying really cool aftermarket parts from Japan that they don't sell here in the US which would have really made that car more special out here. Integras have a ton of potential to be really fun track cars especially when they are paired with a properly built engine. They handle fantastic for a front wheel drive car once you do a little work to the suspension. It's a very buttery smooth experience that only a Honda can give you. You can end up spending a lot of money on these cars with the amount of aftermarket parts available for them. My first car was a 1978 Honda Civic and I only owned Hondas till I bought my 2010 Lexus IS F. I'm a Toyota man now but I have to say that I do miss owning a Honda now and then. So I'm looking for an older Honda now to take my time to rebuild now that I have finished my last project car, a 1990 Mazda Miata which is also a very fun car to drive for the price and I understand now why Miatas are the most raced car in the world. They were really made for the driving enthusiasts of the world. There is so much you can do with those cars and there is a huge amount of support for people looking to build their first car. I think my next build is going to be an Acura Integra. The last one I owned I bought new in 1988 and I loved that car at the time and would have still owned it if I wasn't Tboned 2 years after I purchased it. As much as I would love to have a 1988 model still. I have to go for a newer version with Vtec in it. Acuras only got better every year they came out so a mid-year model is what I'm looking to build. I don't want anything completely modified. I want to keep it looking simple and clean like your friend Mario did his. I just won't be doing any JDM conversion like him because right-hand drive cars are not fun to drive for me not to mention they sell for less money here in the US and I do want to get my money back out of that car if I'm going to sell it someday. I live in California so I can't go too crazy with it if I want it to be street-legal as well. It really sucks that California has the most stringent laws on car modifications in the country. But it also has the largest amount of car enthusiasts in the country as well. I don't ever have to worry about any of my cars getting rusty ever as it's usually 80 degrees and clear outside 340 days of the year. Traffic here sucks really bad if you are forced to drive in the morning traffic hours as well as the evening traffic of people trying to get home from work. But it's not bad at all if you can avoid driving those hours which I always do. I like this guy's channel. I will subscribe because I'm curious to see his take on all the cars he does his reviews on. they seem really legit compared to many of the bigger auto-related channels on RUclips. So don't get too big and turn your channel into something scripted and your channel will probably grow larger over time.
Jesus I would get in so much trouble with this car. This looks very clean. Love the colour. I like how the wheels look, but the alignment / tire selection needs to change. A turbo will surely make more power, but I don't know if it makes sense if you want to keep that sweet sweet throttle response. Supercharger with low boost seems to make more sense
Haha, so would I. It was so tempting to floor it all the time. The paint was extremely clean, and I agree as does Marcio, tires need a change since there was a little uncertainty under heavy acceleration. I think he's doing the turbo just to do it. It'll be all wheel spin for sure but when I tell him that he just laughs. We'll see how it goes when it's done and I do a follow up video.
Even I watched it again laughed, I was terrified at first, hah! Knowing the time and energy he put into it on top of how tricky the clutch and gearing was, I was not ready for it. It was a blast though.
Right hand drive doesn't take much to get use to. Very odd at first but I mean it's just like when you drive left hand drive at first. Everything takes a minute to get use to. I've owned 5 RHD cars and daily drove all of them, sun or snow.
Wow, 5 different RHD cars, those must have been some fun imports. It wasn't difficult judging the size of the car but more so trying to get a vantage point to go around other cars. Passing on the highway and other turns were tricky with the limited visibility due to the angle. Being more cautious is all that's needed. Thanks for watching!
@@Altek1 Like most people I'm here thanks to Scotty, Love how you don't beat around the bush and you get right to the point of the videos. Your a very well spoken entertaining guy to watch. Keep pushing content and I'm sure you will blow up before you know it. The only struggles I find with RHD are left turns at intersections as your basically rolling the dice whenever you turn. And passing on one lane roads. Besides that these cars are so small that there pretty easy to see all around you. For now I have a JDM 1997 wrx sti V-limited and like this car it doesn't make much power at just 300awhp but at 2600lbs it's a rocket ship.
New subscriber from Scotty's channel. I'm not a fan of tricked out imports... but damn is that car sexy!!!!! Only thing I would change... adding a little more sidewall to them tires. New subscriber. Love the content. Can you do a video on a '69 Beetle ?? 😃
Thanks for the sub! I agree, I've seen enough modded Integras, but then I saw this one. It even took me a second to place it since I haven't seen many properly done Japanese front ends on these. It's funny you say that about the tires, he said the same thing himself. He's never really done with the car even when he is. I'd love to do a '69 Beetle, just got to find one first. I'm always open to suggestions. Thanks for the support!!
Omg I just brought one of those but it’s got a stock v-tec and primer grey peeling. I am gonna trying to restore it I have recently rebuilt the brakes and don’t the oil,I’m planning to paint it metallic white but the old vtec pull 160km in 3 redlining it goes well.
Thanks bud. And good question, I guess you can liken it to lights in a computer, there's no real reason except to say you did it, hah. It's a big taking point when he takes the car to a show.
The car my grandpa had then crashed when I was 5 or 6 I use to think it was just a car when I was little but that I’m older i know that it’s not just a car its jdm car now I just wanna be a car guy when I grow so I’m gonna that car for my grandpa
Thanks a lot bud, much appreciated. I'm working on getting some more solid content up and a good base of subscribers, then I'm going to reach out to some people. Stay tuned!
If I'm not mistaken, as long as the car meets US safety standards, you can drive it but that was definitely the first question when I initially saw this thing. The owner drives with the hood off and no license plate on the front, that brings up a whole different question of legality, haha. Thanks for watching bud.
He just threw a supercharger on it, gonna try to get it again to see the how much faster it goes... Or just sit there spinning the wheels, either way it'll be bad ass.
Thank you so much bro, it's awesome to hear my hard work is appreciated. And oh yeah, if I find me an NSX, I'm jumping all over it. I'm going to reach out to someone who I know had one a while back. Fingers crossed for sure!
Haha Marcio took me for a ride and let's just say I didn't drive it hard at all. I'm going to review a Civic he's putting together with a giant turbo and an exhaust popping out of the hood, that one I'm going to get some video of him driving it, since clearly I treat stuff like a grandpa haha
I’ve been wondering this whole time, I just got into the car scene i own a 98 civic and I really like integras and those headlights look dope but I couldn’t find any car like that and I always wondered why they seemed that way, thanks!
It's funny you say that, the first time I saw it at his shop i actually asked him what car it was. I was so confused since I hadn't actually seen a Japanese Integra front end in person, at least not one done properly.
LoL what!? He says "no other integra comes close" Yeah thats just a stupid thing to say. There are so many integra builds like this. Don't get me wrong its clean and k24 swapped but its nothing crazy. Id like to know if he has built any of the suspension besides the normal coilovers and camber kits ect. I got a bunch of suspension shit i have install still all spherical bushings on everything asr hollow sway bar. Its all about the handles.
Stupid is a rough word, yeah? I was saying no other Integra I have personally seen has come close, so maybe I've not been subjected to many Frankenstein'd Integras. To be fair, I do say I'm open to feedback and that's what you're doing. Either way, thanks for watching dawg!

Marcio also has a '04 Civic all built up, I'm gonna try to get my hands on that too once he's all finished with it. Enjoy your monster in the meantime.
Props to the builder!
He got a supercharger put on recently, I'm going to try to get it this summer for an update video.
That tuner isn't just a mechanic he's a true hero 🦸🏻♂️
Sick build.... with an NRG wheel lol.
I caught that too, but in the driving clips he's using a stock steering wheel lol.
I bought a 92 hatchback with an NRG wheel. Broke first day I tried to move it around the garage by pushing car.
Made of plastic.
That red DA on the white Kosei K1 Racing wheels looks beautiful as well.
Glad to showed up on my feed !
So am I! Thanks for watching!
That's a clean DB8 with a K24 to boot
Ended here because of scotty..More honda/acura content please
I'll be doing a wide range of makes and models, but you can expect any crazy or mint Honda I can find.
Why I came here also lol No matter how old I get I still love integras
@@Altek1 Watching your 📹.
Hope you enjoyed my work buddy!
@@Altek1 oh yeah Buddy Lol.
beautiful car but those wheels and alingment are just hilarious
@@Altek1 😄 Yeah, overtaking when driving on the wrong side of the car requires bravery and heartfelt appeals to as many deities as you can think of.
Haha I won't argue with that!
Just came across this video and enjoied the entire thing.
I cant wait to finish building my civic..
This was awesome to watch! Subbed!
3:54 LOL I love this video!
Thanks bro!
@@Altek1 can't Wait!!!
411 subs!! ?? Did you celebrate 311 subs?!!!? Your growin and showin... keep it up
Hah I should have. Doing okay so far, I was hoping to have 1k by years end but that's coming quick.
Came from reddit, great review mate!
Thank you my friend!
Those wheels are so sick
Just like a kid never stop smiling
Even I watched it again laughed, I was terrified at first, hah! Knowing the time and energy he put into it on top of how tricky the clutch and gearing was, I was not ready for it. It was a blast though.
Keep up the good work
I love my CRX. I might go k series’s 2020.
Sweet ride bro i love your motor
Glad you approve, he does great work
He Had Fun😂
Haha yeah I did!
@ 4:34 These little brakes.... these little brakes.... the giant brakes for a tiny car 🤔
New subscriber from Scotty's channel. I'm not a fan of tricked out imports... but damn is that car sexy!!!!! Only thing I would change... adding a little more sidewall to them tires. New subscriber. Love the content. Can you do a video on a '69 Beetle ?? 😃
*and change rear camber angle

Good video and great car but why would you do a RHD conversion in a LHD country?
Thanks bud. And good question, I guess you can liken it to lights in a computer, there's no real reason except to say you did it, hah. It's a big taking point when he takes the car to a show.
Awesome video bro.
Thanks buddy, much appreciated!
The rsx steering wheel doesn’t have the same spline with the integra. How did he put the wheel on????!!!!!
He's a damn magician! By the time I went back to take some follow up video, he swapped it out with something else. I'll ask him when I get the chance.
It has nothing to do with being a magician. You have to use a steering column from an ek. Thats all. :-)

You got good taste buddy!
Mamaroneck, I know where that is. I use to live in Rye, NY
Pop in one day, he's working on a turbo Civic that's coming out pretty damn well
Over-Clutched
What steering wheel is that I love it
What coils and wheels did it have?
Is it legal to drive a car like that in NY? I mean with the steering on the right
If I'm not mistaken, as long as the car meets US safety standards, you can drive it but that was definitely the first question when I initially saw this thing. The owner drives with the hood off and no license plate on the front, that brings up a whole different question of legality, haha. Thanks for watching bud.
I have a 1998 integra with 58,000 miles got it for 6000 at 35,000 miles 😎
Awesome! At that rate, you'll have it for the rest of your life 😎
This is so fast😱
He just threw a supercharger on it, gonna try to get it again to see the how much faster it goes... Or just sit there spinning the wheels, either way it'll be bad ass.
@@Altek1 You said "just" like "its so simple"😂

So the front end is a Japanese swap?
Yup it is.
Thanks for the response man!
What wheels are those?
I like that hunter green
They should have kept it
The hunter green was a tough color to like for me but I think it's because I really only remember seeing that color on integras all rusted out.

Hory shit, k24 ftw. Is it a stock k24?
Ha, I wouldn't think so, but I can get the specifics from my buddy when I see him this week if you're interested.
Altek I sure am. It must be a k24a2 tsx engine or could be a frank build!
How much do you think he spent on the car?
I think it was 20k in total, I may be wrong there. And don't forget he did most of the work himself.
