didn’t know how much i needed the integra to come back. got a JDM 1998 Accord SIR-t. sounds the same makes all the same beeps, suspension all similar, had the binded bolts in the bushings and the seized rotor screws that stripped so i had to drill out, the zero clearance on the drive axels. it made the attempted CV boot replacement a huge failure but i’m glad i can see the other side LMAO

Yo Mike 3:25 on honda's you do not have to take apart the entire front suspension. You can pop the lower ball joint with a fork and hammer and you will have enough wiggle room to take the axle out. You then can slide the whole knuckle out of your way.

I've seen that type of failure a lot on B series. Idk if it's mostly a thing that happens to Exedy discs, or if it's because I primarily run Exedy clutches, but the cracking around the springs is pretty common.

Funny enough... Two years ago my Teg needed a clutch at 170,000 odd Kms. Hard to get into gear and heavy as feck(though I only noticed that after the new one went in). Luckily years previously, at a time here in Ireland you'd struggle to sell a Type R for 3k, someone had sold me a brand new in box Honda clutch kit. For _40 quid_ I'd heard clutches were really long lived in these, but thought for that money why not.
I go to pick it up from my friend/mechanic after he'd put the new one in, and guess what? The clutch disc still had a bit of meat on it, but just like yours one of the springs had let go and was actually loose inside the housing. 😳 So maybe it's a Honda thing? 😄 My friend said he'd rarely seen that before.

The Nissan 240SX, a compact sports car, has left an indelible mark on the automotive industry since its introduction. Produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan, the 240SX has gained a devoted fan base and earned a reputation for its sleek design, performance capabilities, and versatility.
    History:
    1. Origins:
The Nissan 240SX made its debut in the late 1980s as a successor to the Nissan 200SX. Initially released in the Japanese market as the Silvia, the 240SX was part of Nissan's S platform, known for its rear-wheel-drive layout and sporty characteristics.
    2. First Generation (S13):
The first-generation 240SX, designated as the S13, was introduced in 1989 and continued until 1994. It featured a striking, aerodynamic design with pop-up headlights, contributing to its contemporary aesthetic. The S13 gained popularity among enthusiasts for its balanced performance and affordable price point.
    3. Second Generation (S14):
The S14 variant, introduced in 1995, brought a more refined and modern design. The pop-up headlights were replaced with fixed units, and the car's overall appearance became more angular and aggressive. This generation continued to build on the success of its predecessor, offering improved handling and performance.
    4. Evolution of the 240SX:
The 240SX underwent various updates and improvements throughout its production, reflecting advancements in automotive technology. Changes in engine options, suspension systems, and styling cues contributed to the evolving identity of the 240SX over the years.
    Design:
    1. Exterior:
The Nissan 240SX is renowned for its timeless, sporty exterior design. Characterized by clean lines, a low-slung profile, and a sleek silhouette, the 240SX exudes a sense of agility and performance. Notable features include aerodynamic elements, distinctive wheel arches, and, in earlier models, the iconic pop-up headlights.
    2. Interior:
Inside, the 240SX offers a driver-centric cockpit with a focus on simplicity and functionality. The ergonomically designed interior includes supportive seats, a well-organized dashboard, and intuitive controls. While not lavish, the interior emphasizes the driver's connection to the car, fostering an engaging driving experience.
    Performance:
    1. Engine Options:
The 240SX has been equipped with various engines over its production span. Commonly found engines include the KA24E and KA24DE inline-four cylinders. These engines were known for their reliability and provided a solid foundation for aftermarket modifications and tuning.
    2. Rear-Wheel Drive Dynamics:
A key element of the 240SX's appeal lies in its rear-wheel-drive configuration. This setup, coupled with a well-tuned suspension system, delivers a dynamic and responsive driving experience. Enthusiasts appreciate the car's ability to drift and its overall balance on the road.
    3. Modifiability:
One of the defining features of the 240SX is its modifiability. The car has become a staple in the tuner and drifting communities due to its versatile platform. Enthusiasts have embraced the 240SX as a canvas for modifications, including engine swaps, suspension upgrades, and cosmetic enhancements.
    Cultural Impact:
    1. Drifting Culture:
The Nissan 240SX played a pivotal role in popularizing the sport of drifting. Its lightweight chassis, rear-wheel-drive layout, and modifiability made it an ideal choice for drift enthusiasts. The 240SX became synonymous with the drifting subculture, contributing to its iconic status in motorsports.
    2. Tuner Scene:
Within the tuner car scene, the 240SX has achieved legendary status. Car enthusiasts and aftermarket manufacturers have developed a myriad of performance parts and accessories specifically tailored for the 240SX, further solidifying its place in automotive subcultures.
    Legacy:
The Nissan 240SX's legacy extends beyond its production years. Even after discontinuation, the car continues to influence automotive design and culture. Its timeless design and performance capabilities have inspired subsequent generations of sports cars and continue to capture the imagination of automotive enthusiasts worldwide.
    Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Nissan 240SX stands as a testament to Nissan's commitment to producing sporty and accessible vehicles. Its evolution over the years, from the S13 to the S14, showcases the brand's dedication to refining and perfecting its offerings. The 240SX's impact on automotive culture, particularly in drifting and the tuner scene, remains undeniable, cementing its place in the hearts of car enthusiasts. As a versatile and modifiable platform, the 240SX has left an enduring legacy that transcends its production years, ensuring its status as a classic in the annals of automotive history.
