  • This is a review of the LG 4.1-cu ft Agitator Top-Load Washer. We not only review this washer that we bought from Lowes, we also show you how to use it! This is one of the more economical washers out there (usually on sale for around $500) -- is it worth the money? Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe.

I would like to see a video running through a cycle. That would be extremely helpful to see if we want to buy it. Please and thank you!

I just purchased an LG top load with agitator and matching dryer. Your video helped me understand the workings of the washer! (I'm "old school") Thank You!!

Does it fill with pure hot water on the hottest setting? Or like many energy efficient machines does it intermittently add cold water as it fills? Thank you.

Does your water come out full force the entire washing cycle and rinse? Mine has started having trouble and I can't remember what it used to do. We bought ours in January, I think. I've had to power off and on and just choose the spin cycle to complete my laundry. Lights flash at some point, usually when it's in rinse cycle, and that's when I have to power off. The code for the flashing is something about temperature control, but with hardly any water coming in, I guess that's bound to happen? I don't have the error with cold water, but still it doesn't maintain a full flow of water. Speed wash takes way too long now.

Do you happen to know how to disable the melody that plays at the end of a cycle on this specific washer? It was cute to hear the first couple times. But after, it started being annoying.

It is electric. Should be fine for an apartment in my opinion.

Sounds like you've gotten a lemon. Return and get another.

There's no way this review is true. I just purchased this washer and it's the worst I've ever used. Water doesn't even come out like that at the start of a normal cycle, the clothes barely get wet. This washer won't even complete a cycle no matter what I choose. I have to turn the washer off and put it on spin to get the water out of the clothes. Go to other sites to read the reviews. All the negative reviews are true.

We bought that washer. No one payed us to review it. We actually like it. I would not do a positive review for the washer that you are describing. If I was you, I’d return it. We’ve done many loads of laundry with it without issues. Where did you buy it from?

I purchased this washer from Home Depot. You have a 48 hour window to return appliances. I had these delivered 2 days before I moved in. Unfortunately by the time I needed to do laundry I was past this window. I have experienced every problem with this washer that has been on multiple sites of reviews where this is sold. I'm fairly intelligent and I've searched everywhere thinking I'm doing something wrong. This many people can't be wrong.

That's strange. No issues for us. We bought ours from Lowes. Are you sure it's the same one?

@LoveWhatYouDo Unfortunately, it is the same as yours. I just tried to do a load on the delicate cycle so it would use cold water. After an hour it's just been sitting. Clothes are bone dry and cycle never starts.
